The two 560 MSP games have been on sale for 400 MSP before so it's definitely not worth it. Have they even fixed the download history glitch yet? I'm weary of even buying anything from this app...

All Zombies Must Die has NEVER been on sale yet, at least not on the US Marketplace.
Yeah, it was 400msp in UK/EU, but it's always been 800 here. I haven't spent any point in so long, I think I'm just gonna break down and buy it!
So I grabbed Raskulls from the Sales App last night, despite my propensity against purchasing games via that means due to the aforementioned lack of parity with the regular marketplace. But my 5-year-old really enjoyed the demo, and he used his own money to buy it. :)

You guys also convinced me to buy Toy Soldiers: Cold War at the last minute. I mostly play single player, so thanks for the recommendation. This also gives me a couple options in the backlog when I feel like defending some towers.

All Zombies Must Die is on my want list, but I'd rather avoid that Sales App if possible, and I imagine that game will hit 400msp at some point. Would you guys/gals agree? I guess either way I have about a week to decide....
Raskulls and Toy Soldiers are both really awesome, I don't think you'll be disappointed with either game for 50% off.
Maybe he was thinking of Zombie Apocalypse's awful sequel (Never Die Alone), which went indeed down to 400 MSP last March...
No, I was talking about All Zombies Must Die. It was on sale during Easter for 400 MSP but Gabrius was right about it not being on the US marketplace, it was on European ones. Either way, it's still not worth 560 MSP.

Very true, well said. Another reason why I'm tempted on All Zombies Must Die. But I kind of want MLB Bobblehead Pros I'm ready to just break down and pay full price for that one, so I've got to decide.
so its just that hand full of dlc this week?
At least there is Arcade DLC on sale...they barely even discount them even if the main game is on sale and cost the same amount as the DLC then lol...

I would be glad if they would do some more Arcade DLC during summer of arcade....still better than DLC for Fallout, Borderlands etc which is on sale every two months lol

Hmm, one of the Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 DLC packs is 1/2 off ($4 instead of $8). Anyone ever tried that game? I just got myself a Kinect since I figured it'd help me w/ my diet/exercise and might get that since it'd help me out (plus it'll count towards Kinect PlayFit).

Oh, right. Also need to get the Knives DLC for Scott Pilgrim.

this is true, i just thought maybe there was more coming since it is such a short list. buying chow even though i dont have the game yet. next time its on sale..

Everyone be sure to check out the original hulu series Up to Speed next month, to which i provided animation. its gonna be a great show!

Had to spend some points so bought the Clash of Heroes and Scott Pilgrim DLCs. Haven't even played the original games since they're buried deep in my backlog, hopefully they and the dlc are decent pickups.

Already finished Scott Pilgrim + DLC some time ago and have to say that game is awesome! The DLC was well worth the 160 MSP ;D

I also got the comic books and the movie recently on my birthday since I wanted to check them out...and would recommend both too =P but go ahead and play the game it doesn't even take thaaaat long =)

Same for me ooga. I grabbed both of these DLCs. I can vouch for the Scott Pilgrim pack. That's a great DLC and cheap to boot. I really dont know about Clash of Heroes DLC, but the price was right so hopefully its decent. Is it only multi-player stuff or does it offer something to the solo experience?

I'm surprised people are buying the multiplayer DLC for M&M Clash of Heroes, unless they have a friend they can count on playing against. I'd imagine that the MP community is pretty much dead at this point.

I'd like a spot in a Shoot Many Robots group. Also have the following keys to sell:

Dino D-Day (Steam) - $1
Depth Hunter (Desura) - $1
Will Fight For Food (Desura) - $1
Has NBA Jam: Fire Edition ever been on sale? I want to get it but not at 1200 points. :bouncy:
I Think 800 points or so during the first week of the last seasonal game promo.

Yes, it has been on sale for 800 points before. Source: xbldb
If you lose the scratch game on the sales app you can get left 4 dead 1 the sacrifice for 400 MSP, zombie apocalypse for 560 MSP, or all zombies must die for 560 MSP
Mine is showing up as Left 4 Dead 2.
Aren't they all the same, or are different people getting (kinda) different offers?

Actually I think the sacrifice works for both lfd 1 and 2

Refreshed the OP by:
 • removed the Bethesda DLC
 • removed the Microsoft XBLA titles
 • added the YourShape DLC (found by xbldb)
 • swapped GOW3 and Fallout 3 under Games on Demand
It turns out GOW3 is now a nice price of $30, and the Xbox sales page says Fallout is only temporarily on sale ... against all better logic. :D
It was released on both but they are seperate DLC.
Correct ... "The Sacrifice" in Left 4 Dead 2 requires a much bigger download of 633MB, since you're basically importing not only the cast of L4D, but also a lot of the textures, meshes & other game elements. If you didn't need to import them, then "The Sacrifice" for L4D only requires 255MB ...

... but you lose out on the superior mutliplayer & other refinements of L4D2.

Just posted this over in the XBL Marketplace "freebie" thread ...

other than those steps, sounds like you have tried everything i have done. i will reply if i think of anything else. good luck!
Thanks, that did the trick. Odd that the file wasn't alphabetical under N but appeared later on in the list of game saves.

Really enjoying Toy Soldiers. This is what the Army Men Air Attack series should have been.

I was liking Spelunky until it kept sending me back to level 1 whenever I died (level 3 is too hard for me). I don't know if this is a demo thing, but I hope the game lets you save your progress by the level.

And I didn't know about the Y button/points thing before this thread.

dead space is on sale for $15. thats about what it costs on ebay. is the game good? or was the second one a lot better. i never played it, probably not gonna get it but if it's similar/better than any games i like maybe its worth it. from the review i watched it looked like resident evil and 5 and 6 are worth it (well probably 6) since they're good to replay and are coop, this looks like RE without the coop which makes me wary, since i wish i never bought RE4 on GOD because i've never been compelled to beat that more than once. it has a better story than 5 but 5 is just more fun to play.

Everytime you die you will go back to 1-1, unless you get shortcuts. But that doesn't let you earn a few achievements and get a post on the leaderboards

Do you guys know at what time they update the Marketplace? I know that it is either 2:00 am or 3:00 am PST, I'm just not exactly sure which.

I want to wait for Tony Hawk HD.

EDIT: NVM, it's 2:00 am

Just so you know, it's never exact. I stay up for almost every game every Tuesday night, and they can be put up anywhere from about 2am to 3:30am Pacific time.

Dead Space 1 is pretty sweet but I don't think $15 for the digital version is all that good of a deal.

Dead Space is one of the few story based games I didn't regret buying at $60. You won't regret it at $15/1200MSP, unless you despise of survival horror games or something.

I noticed Batman AC GOTY is supposedly $30 on GoD.

My guess is they goofed up just like they did with SF:AE and you end up getting the game with no DLC at all.

Tony Hawk's HD has one of the worst trial version.
The game doesn't feel like old Tony Hawk games at all and runs with crappy framerate (uses UE3). No split-screen.

All of this makes this game easy skip. Bring Dust and Deadlight already! :)

You're assuming we buy stuff to play it.

Huh! I thought it looked and played great, as did my son, who never played the original. Will be interesting to see how others feel about it.

I Just got an update for the Sales & Specials app and it now recognizes that I already got the horde pack and raam's shadow (with season pass)...so I only would have to buy the kryll shield to get the skin pack (but I don't want it xp)

Just wanted to elt you know that the sales app seems to recognize now if you bought things earlier =D

Good to hear they fixed it. I will download the update later. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice! I hope they solved the opposite issue too (purchases made with the app not recognized by Marketplace)! :bouncy:

I hope they have a dashboard update soon to address slow downs. It take 30 seconds for my quick play list to show up. Crappy performance in launching stuff overall.

I doubt this is possible. The whole dashboard is packed with worthless stuff and i believe this is the main problem. :S
