XBLA - Duke Nukem 3D - 800pts - 8 Player Co-Op

This is as awesome as I remember, from whatever I can remember from when I was like 12. Its a a bit too awesome cause it runs at the speed its actually supposed to be running at. Oh it just reminds me of the days of this and playing Marathon on an Apple Performa

Hail to the King baby! This is probably my first meaningful game on the PC back in the day. It is funny how tricks, and secrets just come back to you. I am going to have to download the full version when I get my discounted amazon points tomorrow.
The only issue I can see people having is the autoaim function. You kind of need it to deal with the many flying enemies. It feels closer to the PC original if you leave it on but I know tons of people hate using autoaim anything.
Wait, how do you autoaim? I'm burning through pistol bullets like its going out of style.

It's in the options, i think under gameplay.

It's on by default. The pistol bullets still go pretty wild. I think the autoaim primarily compensates for differences in elevation because back in 1996, people weren't used to quickly aiming up and down in FPS'. At least that's my theory.

I enjoyed the demo....I may get the full version for some multiplayer. I was surprised how I remembered most of the levels from back in the day....pretty fun.
No rewind in coop kinda sucks, but playing with another person is more fun.
Yeah, I hate going through the level every time I die. The good thing is that you get Infinite lives in Co op.

What a great game. Looks like the "find 70+ secret areas" achivement may stack with other plays in co-op, because I don't remember finding so many secret areas when playing with mulitple people but I unlocked it out of no where.

The single player and co-op is certainly blissful. I'm not sure about mulitplayer, but I heard the controls are a bit too floaty for it. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
Either kill them or leave them alone, there's no saving them.
don't they turn into monsters after a while? I swear in the PC version, I left one alone and it turned into a octabrain.

It was when you killed them they usually did, they at least made an enemy show up when you did.
Oh man just played the trial, that brings me back. Man gotta conserve ammo lol.
Yep, Duke's Mighty Boot won't cut it later on, lol.

Achievements were pretty easy to get when you have 7 other dukes working for you.
Multiplayer wise we did Manhattan Mayhem or Stadium and I was getting about 10-20 kills per game that would last maybe five minutes.

I thought the "secret" one would be hard but it seems like it stacked with other people finding the secret areas, plus u can find them in multiplayer to.
