15 bucks for a game limited to one console with absolutely no resale value (and only online if you get RROD) does seem like a lot, like someone said, esp. since the history is 5,8,104. I'm a little concerned about where we're going with DLC and pricing. The PSP version, which comes with physical media that can be sold or traded, is only 5 bucks more (though admittedly no online play). You would think since marketing, shipment, and packaging costs are virtually nil, they'd pass the savings onto the customer (anyone remember "CDs will be much cheaper than cassettes because they're easier to make!"). I like the convenience of purchasing online, and I like having a whole bunch of games immediately accessible from the hard drive (of course, I have that elsewhere on a "computer"), but the oldschool gamer in me likes having an actual game. I still remember buying Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1 and opening that bad boy in the mall, reading the instructions on a bench while waiting for my wife to shop.
Anyway, that said, I'm tempted, I enjoyed the demo and I've go about 4000 points.
Question: It does have same-console (offline) multiplayer correct? How does that work? Do both people (with gamertags on the same console) have Quest characters to use? Do both people have to have Gold memberships?
