Lol I have played it a little bit and I have a big fat 0 GS too. I always run out of time,even on a perfect lap, I still run out of time. But I'm not complaining, I just bought it because it was fun as hell in the arcade
 
Reminder, sales tend to go live between 6-7 PM Pacific, hopefully they start tonight. I have set my site into over scan, so it should find things quickly.
 
Was hoping Renegade Ops would be a daily deal for 600. I guess this kills the chances of that happening. Have a feeling it will drop below 5 bucks during the current steam sale so I might have to just get there instead.

Pretty much what Bradisback said. The closest I came to finishing it was getting a few inches from the end. Only played a couple times but still, it's definitely going to take some practice to get good enough to even clear the thing, let alone the harder sections.

Would definitely have snagged Renegade Ops for 600 but at 800, I'm not tempted. Hopefully though it'll go on sale for a lower price sometime next year.

I am still uncertain on Radiant, Guwange & Bangai-O. I am not expecting them to go on sale again but i only have 2600 points and am not really wanting to buy more points before xmas :(

There's a reason why RS is so highly regarded among the SHMUP community... it's as close to a must-play as you can get if you're at all a fan of the genre.
 
Yeah and they say the same thing about Ikaruga and a bunch of other overrated stuff.

That said, I picked up Silvergun all the same. It's only money. Will give it a shot.

Outrun 2006 is better than Outrun Online Arcade. There is next to no reason to buy OOA if you have a PC copy of 2006.

I was considering getting one of the sales this week especially RS since I love my sega saturn but while attempting to download some trial games for my daughter to play I purchased 3d mini golf for 400 ponts. :cry: Don't feel like throwing away any more points...

It was strange. I usually click demo then it takes me to the login screen (on pc) then lets me download it...well it took me to the purchase instead and I wasn't paying attention until I clicked it...then I saw 400 points. Not happy. Apparently Microsoft screwed up on that particular games linking as I've never had that happen before.

Just wanted to share my sob story...:-({|=

ITSP looks worth 600 at least, but what kind of game would you compare it to? I'll probably wait and see what else is on sale before deciding on it 100%.

Stranger's Dream will include a new, fully narrated "Who Knows Where" sequence that will give players more insight into Ruck's backstory, as well as the history of Caelondia. The developer says the sequence will be "bigger and more challenging" than others in the game.



The DLC pack will also add a Score Attack mode and a No-Sweat mode to the game: the former will unlock all spirits and idols in the game from the first level and will rate players' efficiency in combat, with all areas becoming repeatable; the latter will provide players with unlimited chances to move forward from the point at which they were defeated in battle, suited for those who just want to experience the game's story.

It's a MetroidVaniaesque game. Imho I thought it would have been more appropriately priced at 800 retail/400 sale but I'll probably go ahead and bite for 600.

Honestly wasn't a huge fan but I literally played maybe 5 minutes of it. This one above all the other discounted games so far is the one I am the most hesitant about.

Definitely going to snag Bastion and Renegade Ops.
 
Snagged Renegade Ops in case it was a mistake since OP says 800 points. I did initially want Bloodrayne, but have heard some mixed things about it and now I'm not so sure...
