I have a question about the Kain & Raziel pack. Do they come with their own move sets and voice-overs or are they just skins?
Can't answer for that pack, but for the Kane & Lynch pack, all the cut scenes were re-done for them both visually and audio-wise, and various moments in the game have new voice work as well. Move sets are the same, though. I was kinda impressed, and it was really funny (half the stuff is bleeped out).

Also have to give my appreciation to LC&tGoL, great game. Played all the way through solo and then again solo (to get objectives, hidden red skulls and beat my times), while played about half way through co-op. Got the DLC when it was free too. The challenge pack was kinda lame and more so you can't just re-visit the core of that pack, the survival horde like mode at the end!

Not sure if it was mentioned, but I noticed that Major Nelson mentioned that in the Spotlight Channel on the 360 dashboard, you'll be able to see all the deals going on at once starting March 8th.
I hear you on that, I spend more time buying than playing as well. Very bad habit to have.
I have quite a backlog as well. Like some people on here, I spend more time buying than playing. We need a "backlog support group". LOL!

Sign me up lol. Part of my resolutions this year was to make sure I don't buy more games than I beat and have stuck to it (so far).

I've decided to do the same a few days ago. The only things I'm picking up are to flip. And those games whose deal is too good to pass up  Damn it CAG!
dude, i just checked your games, why does your sig contain games not even remotely finished?
Fixed.

It didn't dawn on me that I had "Completed Games" in my sig when I meant "Games Beaten". There are few games that I like enough to invest the time to "complete".

I was really starting to make progress on my backlog, than I started my site and now I'm almost always putting one game off for a game I need to review. I love it, but I'm starting to wonder if I will ever finish Alan Wake...

Speaking of, still haven't even had time to try any of the demos for any of the games currently on sale. Although the fact all 9 seasons of scrubs popped up on Netflix Instant isn't helping.

Lastly, because you guys help feed my addiction, and who doesn't love the people that enable them; just a heads up, next week I will be giving away 5 copies of Torchlight on my site. Currently giving away an XBLIG as well.

Gaaaaah! Just checked SNK's XBLA site & they changed Trouble Witches Neo's release date from "This Winter" to "This Spring".

Just something to note since it's listed as MIA on the 1st post.

can I ask where you got your gamer picture? my brother was telling me about a free fallout one and a free halo reach gamerpic but i cant find them. thnx

To get PoP or not? I have bought and not played Poker Smash, Alien Hominid, Sonic and Knuckles, Snoopy Flying Ace, Dead Space Ignition, Sonic 2, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, Puzzle Fighter, Galaga Legions, Geometry Wars Evolved and Undertow.
Don't even let me list the games I have not even completed 50% of the achievements on. Though, I have played many of the games and enjoyed them. I try and only buy games for 400 points or less. The only games that I payed 800 points for are Trials and Shadow Complex. But, when I get free points or free games, the games build up. Truthfully, I have only bought 1 4000 point and maybe 5 1600 point cards. Technically, I bought 6 1600 point cards, but one is not even open. Most of my points/games come from trading for them or buying the games from Cagers/Ebay.
Sorry, I was a Epcot yesterday and doing PC repair most of today. I'll update the OP in a little while
Don't you know thread OPs are not allowed to have personal lives get in the way of OP updating??? BTW, check your autolog, I've been racing NFS recently.
Tempted on TMNT Arcade, now if only X-men Arcade would get down to the 200 points.

Think of all the glorious 90's beat-em ups just waiting for XBLA porting.....

Aliens vs Predator, Punisher, Dungeons & Dragons (FTW!!!), Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, licensing be damned, get it done!
Both TMNTs are worth 200 point ranges whenever they hit there. For me they are fun beatem ups that don't last long. I don't get the hate on the newer TMNT on XBLA, it's still fun. Funny thing is I've only played it once cause of my backlog and I got a super high ranking score on it somehow.

Oh and the first 3 beatem ups you listed are awesome and wish they'd all come to XBLA. Never played C&D though.
DX takes CE to a new level, mainly by breaking down the game into objectives. You either need to eat all the apples, take out as many ghosts as possible or beat the stages with the best time. Pac-Man CE DX is I agree feels like a good sequel and I too was skeptical at first.
Thanks, between this and the input of some others and all the incredibly glowing reviews I jumped in. Now to try it out. Oh, and don't check your autolog. It would be nice to stay on top of my leaderboards on at least a couple races for a day or two. . .

Waiting to get my copy back from a friend. Hopefully those races aren't .3 or .4 differences or perfect runs.
I have bought and not played Poker Smash...
Won this game not too long ago and found it highly addictive and actually a lot of fun. Work it into your schedule sometime soon. :)

I have you as a friend on Xbox, and I have pass your rankings in a couple of races in NFS, but I don't believe its a lot of races (since they get hard later on)

I really liked the Autolog in NFS:HP. It made me do a couple races over to put up a good score or go back and beat friends. Normally, I would just try for Gold and move on and not go back.

In other news, I updated the OP. I'll add some more info as we get closer to the sales (DLC info, which YS Add-ons are on sale, etc). If you see any errors/omissions let me know.

It was included on the demo disk for an issue of OXM awhile back, came with a handful of Fallout: New Vegas gamerpics. Haven't seen any Halo: Reach ones though.

bummer man.. Lara has been on sale a few times, well this at least makes 2 or 3.. Then patty's day sale sucks.. my opinino.. Lips, Rock band.. lame.. I feel spoiled with prior games, deals that i want something each week that warrants a buy.. I know.. Im wrong. :) But there are HUNDREDS of aracade games, and seems the same ones get focused on too often.

Played the demo of Lara Croft again last night. Man I should already have this game. Shouldnt have bought MNC during the Christmas sale but w/e. It will be mine on Monday.

How is the third Challenge Pack? Got the first one for free which is cool.

Also, like others, I feel like I dont play my XBLA titles, so Im hesitant about getting even Pacman. Id really like to get Torchlight as well. I wish they had some sort of promo for the House Party cause then I would pick up Beyond Good And Evil.

Look at it this way, gives you a break from buying stuff. While I love great games being on sale, it's nice to have some weeks were I don't feel like I have to buy anything for a change.

I was originally wondering why they would put Green Day tracks for Rock Band on sale, then saw that Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murpheys appear to only have DLC on Guitar Hero. Shame, although I will probably end up picking up the Social D song and at least consider the Green Day.

Very interesting that a XBLIG is being included in a DOTW (Clover). Even more so that it doesn't have "Avatar" in the title.
Is Pacman CE DX worth buying If I already own Pacman CE?
It is in my opinion. Much more fun, more options, and a more creative re-imagining of the original.

Agreed. There's WAAAY more stuff in DX. There's a bunch more maps than in CE. Easily worth $5. I got it when it was released for $10 & I still think it was a good deal.

Sorry, one more Pac Man CE DX question.

I have it and love the game on PSN (control with the d-pad feels very tight and responsive). I like it so much, I'm thinking about picking it up on XBLA too. Anybody have good or bad things to say about playing with a fightstick? (it's a MadCatz Tournament Edition so I can toggle the stick to control either the left thumbstick or d-pad). Thanks!

I've heard that octo gate fight sticks have confusion issues with games like Pac-Man that don't utilize diagonal directions, so you may need to get a square restrictor gate (assuming your MadCatz is octagonal). I don't own a fight stick though, so someone else should probably clarify.

What I'm sure about is that the 360's d-pad blows. Haven't tried the new one that switches from disc to +.

Pac-Man requires a 4-way input and joysticks are 8-way.
The problem is referenced here and here in the CAG Arcade stick thread.
Your TE already has an adjustable 4/8-way restrictor plate built in.
Just take off the back panel and give it a twist to play Pac-Man.

" The best example of a game where diagonals can be a problem is Pac-Man. The game recognizes the last of the four directions newly-engaged in choosing the direction of movement. Say you are turning right, but you accidentally clip the up switch after engaging right. Up will be the saved direction because it was last engaged. So you try to fix this by rotating the stick out of the up-right diagonal into only the right engagement. You would intuitively think this would fix the problem and make right the new direction. But right was engaged the entire time and it is not a new command. So up is still the recognized movement even though you are specifically holding right and only right. "

I picked up Pac Man DX on XBLA. I tried my MadCatz TE stick (Round 1) but could never achieve the precision like I do with the thumbstick on the Xbox pad. But that's just me.

Yeah its been a success and defintely would have made the purchases easier. Some sort of grab 2 get pts back would have been perfect.

Well, at least one sale for me coming up. Nice to see Lara Croft at a better price (or the same?) as the NY countdown since I missed it.
Is Pacman CE DX worth buying If I already own Pacman CE?
The DX demo is horrible and far too easy/boring if you are at all familiar with Pacman CE. But the game becomes amazing on Hard difficulty and the new boards you unlock are really enjoyable, unlike CE. Just based on the demo I questioned the mad amounts of praise it got, but unlocking the full game made me a believer.

It is a wonder why they're not doing a some points back promo like they've done in the past.
5% yo! Yea... They didnt do anything till after Game Feast or w/e either. These promos are always so phoned in.

Was thinking about ways to obtain XBLA titles today and thought if we are including on disc options perhaps a listing of all XBLA games available as codes on cards might be worth including. The Joust code that came with a year sub card would be an example. Of course now that Gamestop is selling XBLA game cards at their store this may end up being a huge list. Just a thought.

I think you're right that the list would be huge, and as such could become a pain to manage as part of this thread. However, maybe sales/discounts could be added here for XBLA games/DLC at retail. I haven't noticed any happening, but Amazon used to discount their codes and so I doubt they have an agreement with Microsoft not to. It's probably only a matter of time before they happen.

There are also a couple of discrepancies between XBLM and GameStop. Super Meat Boy is 1200 ms points on the marketplace, but it's $9.99 from GameStop. That seems to be the regular price, as it's been $9.99 since they put it up for sale as far as I know. Also, Doom was pulled from the marketplace awhile back, but you can buy it for $4.99 at GS. This happened when Bethesda bought id and Activision's publishing rights were lost. Supposedly Bethesda is going to put it back, but it's currently only available from GS. I think both of these are probably worth noting along with sales.

Maybe I just missed a link when I looked on Xbox.com for DKM. I thought I remembered there being some Flogging Molly on RBN, but that would never get a DOTW kind of mark down because you have to purchase it from the in game menu.

But thanks for pointing out the DKM DLC, I now re-stand by my initial thought of why would you put Green Day DLC on sale when you have DKM for the week of St. Patty's?

Played a whole 3 minutes of Pacman CE DX before decided I was going to buy. As I was playing it I couldn't help but remember when I introduced Pacman CE to my dad, who was like a Pacman god back in the day. (Random side story, he spent an entire night playing Pacman with Bryan Adams once, I believe that's who it was anyway, hard to keep all those 80's singers straight) He played maybe a minute or two and went, "WTF? This isn't Pacman!"

It took less time than taht for me to decide no way I was going to buy Stark Trek. That game is so very very meh.

Oh, and just another quick shameless self plug, giving away the XBLIG FishCraft on my site this weekend (Contest ends Monday). Only a handfull of entries so far, so odds are good. See the link in my sig if interested.

This involves dissembling the unit, am I correct?
I'd love to use it for the Pacman, but the stick is also used to play other fighting games so it could be practically non-existence.

Im actually curious if they are gonna sell Torchlight as a download card. And even the Dragon Age 2 DLC.

You can't buy Doom anymore, I tried in store and online yesterday, both said it's sold out. :whistle2:x
