Yay I can pick up ilomilo!

I'm debating the Halo map pack.. I don't play it anymore but the deal going on with the 2nd map pack would mean both map packs would be 800 points (400 for the 1st, 800 for the 2nd and 400 rebate). I could go for that.

The Toy Box is worth it solely for the Rocket Boots. After using them, you can never imagine playing the game without them.

Add me I'm always down for some multiplayer. I own the toy box and will probably pick up the deluge one.

About Portal Still Alive, does it really require a hard drive or did it just come out before the update that let you use usb drives?

a usb drive will work just fine, it came out long before the update, so the only way to have enough storage space to play it was to have a hard drive, the usb update fixed this
 
I picked up up final fight double impact worth every penny i paid for....thinking of picking up marvel vs capcom 2 but i'm horrible in fighting games so i might pass.

The Defiant map pack rebate is part of the Xbox Live Rewards program.
More info can found here and in the 2nd post of this thread.
You don't need to be a gold member for the Defiant rebate. You just need be a member of the rewards program.

For the 5% points rebate though you do need to remain gold throughout the entire month of April

I figured he was referring to the Defiant rebate and the Noble discount, but I could be wrong.

yeah picked up snoopy flying ace as well, heard good things from it, funny as I never had a 360 before, but got one in a trade for the daughters ps3 that was starting to get pretty warm here lately (and she didn't play with as much as see always seemed to come in living room to play mine lol), and besides trying to get used to the controller for shooters, been pretty decent, and just in time to get in on these sales! :)

MvC2 is hard as hell if you are bad at fighting games. Rent MvC3 if you can instead, it's dumbed down for people like you and me!

Not many people are playing it .Sometimes the server is empty. Maybe there are 100 people playing in the evening (9 PM GMT ) . Not many more.

I don't know why I'm having a hard time convincing myself to get Perfect Dark. I played it back in the day and I enjoyed the trial, but don't know if I will ever play through it with my never-ending backlog of much more modern games.

This hasn't ever been less than $5 has it?
 
From what I recall, the lowest Perfect Dark has been is $5.

Hmm, so Yar's Revenge is similar to Sin & Punishment or Star Fox (though it's one of those move w/ 1 stick, cursor w/ another). I think I'll get it. Plus there's some bonus content, like an avatar award for buying the game (a shirt w/ the boxart from the original 2600 game) & the original comic.
 
Yeah, I decided to check since when I was looking at the new stuff, I noticed a theme was available for purchase. I know my friend is interested, so we're glad to hear it's finally coming out soon.

Also, do we know the full list of the games that'll be on sale Friday, or are those ones that're shown on the dashboard it?

It's not worth it. I bought it on release day due to the hype/nostalgia and the game has not aged well. Some of the levels on higher difficulties are just not fun due to the unclear level design and telepathic enemies that can see/hit you from long distances.

Save your time/money/positive memories of this game.

I got it for 400 during the Christmas/New Years sale. I thought the game was seriously overhyped but after playing it I think it was well worth the $5-$8 you might spend on it.

I thought Limbo was 800 during the holiday sale? I doubt I would have passed on that being 400.

Has not aged well, wtf are you talking about. Do you have a magic copy of Limbo for an older console that I've never heard of? The game is pretty easy, you might get stuck once or twice but overall it's not very hard(and I haven't seen any telepathic enemies.)

Pretty sure you're right. I remember a bunch of 1200 point games being 600, and Limbo only went down to 800.

Yeah, if it would have been 400 I would have bought it instantly. I just felt that 800 was too much. Happy to see it is 600 and will be buying it for sure.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about Yar's Revenge (Atari 2600), not Limbo.

Edit: After reading the post again I believe the previous poster is correct. He's talking about Perfect Dark.

Yea it was defnitely 800 points during the last sale. I remember thinking for 600 I'd be tempted 800 is a pass. Now that it's 600 I can wait for 400 I think. Though those sales seem to be less and less common. I'm in no rush though. My backlog is getting a little long from all these sales.
 
I was talking about the magic one day deal that only I got because I'm super awesome. Or I forgot the actual price. One of those statements is true.
