I may even spend for the missing chapters of Ass Cred 2: Creed Harder ... Hope the 13 bundle will be dropped too. I would like to at least be done with the game and have it "complete."
The 13 bundle did drop. The non-bundle didn't.

Picked up Islands of Wafku and Trouble with Witches Neo (didn't think this would ever go on sale). Will probably get Outland and maybe BC:Rearmed 2.
I've only heard bad things about Yars Revenge but never tried the demo. Anyone like it?

All of these games are on sale for everybody, except for Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and D & D: Daggerdale.

A reminder that BC:Rearmed 2 will not launch unless you have an internet connection to xbox live active when you try to play it.. That's thanks to some nice DRM from Capcom. Just a reminder for those that simply do not support such nonsense.
Does anyone know if all of the sale prices today are for Gold members only?
It looks like only the announced DOTW sales are Gold-exclusive.

That's PSN only

Glad I didn't keep ignoring this thread! In for Outland for sure, probably Shank and whichever of the two Rearmeds I don't have on PSN already. Oh, and Clash of Heroes. Time to use those points I picked up from TRU!

Yeah, Outland is good. I paid 800 and think it was worth it. Definitely pick it up for 400 if you like the demo.

I'm mulling over the other games. I have a lot to play, so not sure if I'll pick anything up.

I am quite surprised! Should have waited on Trouble Witches and Outland, but oh well... great games well worth the sale prices. I didn't think TWN would ever go on sale.

Finally MS giving us another good sale. BC: Rearmed and possibly Shank for me. Will check out a few of the others.

Still holding out for Beyond Good and Evil HD...

Woah, big sale out of nowhere! THIS is the kind of stuff I wish we'd see more often.

A shame that I already own all the games I care about (BC Rearmed 2, Outland, Trouble Witches Neo (seriously, wow, did not expect that to go on sale. Now Triggerheart Exelica?) & Yar's Revenge). I'm tempted by Moon Diver, but I think I'm gonna wait until it's $5.

& according to this site, some other stuff got discounted, like Trials HD, Star Raiders (how was that?), Serious Sam HD, Section 8 & some DLC, Halo: Reach theme, Dragon Age: Origins Awakening DLC, & Kitten Blade (finally $5, huh? Maybe I'll get it. Does it get better after the demo or is it the same?).
The sales is only good till thursday. I just wonder What fridays 1 day sale Going to be.
Is there a source for this? If it's confirmed, I'll buy Outland today.
This is great, but I almost wish Microsoft would spread out the sales a bit. I'm going to be dropping $60 easy on all these drops.
This sale wasnt exactly planned...

Anyone think some of these will show up on the PSN? They sometimes have some of these sales unannounced as well. I have way more space to burn on my PS3 than my 360 is all. Would really appreciate any insight.

There's always a chance, they've mirrored some sales in the past, but not all that have appeared on the 360. Your guess is as good as anyone's. Sony tends to give even less insight into upcoming sales than Major Nelson does. If these games really interest you, take the sure thing and just buy them on the 360.

Wow, I check my phone after my exam and it looks like I really need to get home and update the OP. Let me grab a soda and snack on the way home and I'll get cracking. 30 mins or so I guess

As long as you don't expect to be paid for those 30 minutes.

FINALLY!

Word of caution though, if this sale's on for a week you may wanna wait until Saturday when a new Xbox Rewards offer will be up.

Yar's Revenge is incorrectly listed as 600 in the promotional ad on the dashboard. Like eastx said, it's actually 400 when you check out.
Oops about my comment then. Anyone care to recommend or bash: Moon Diver or Yar's revenge.
Read some reviews, but some are mixed.
Yar's Revenge is a game I won earlier this year. I've played through it a few times, and it's a really great addition to the original game; it includes various challenges and some excellent bonus content, like the original comics. It's a mixed bag on whether you'd actually like it, however.

The game's got a lot of old-school toughness to it; I found it to be initially very difficult, as ground-based units are hard to kill and respawn too often, leaving you literally swarmed and forced to use anything you can just to escape. Some of the challenges are ridiculously tough, and likewise for the achievements. It's one of the few games where you might actually panic during playtime.

The story is mediocre at best. The dialogue is written in the same choppy style as the original. You can get by without playing the original or reading the comics--the font size in the scans is way too small, by the way--but I feel like you don't get the sense of grandeur you normally would. And, given that the prequel came out 30 (!) years ago, there definitely needed to be an overview, or even the full game, available to play at the beginning.

The graphics aren't too bad and peak during boss battles; I should point out that colors are bland/muted and enemies have that N64 polygon look. Cutscenes are all gorgeously hand-drawn and play out like a comic book. And the controls are complicated and require getting used to; there are multiple firing modes, and none of them can be used while you're targeting enemies with missiles.

If you liked Sin & Punishment, then you'll probably enjoy this. Yar's Revenge has much less variety than S&P, but it is essentially the same game.

The sale is live on the dashboard, it is called "Extreme Shopping Sale". It will last one week. I was unable to get a video but my site has most of the details, it did miss some avatar items on sale since it still doesn't track them. I've just been too busy to work on the back end code.

I did notice some mistakes on the sale thou. One game was listed as 600 in the graphic but the price was only 400. Not sure if the graphic will be updated or if the price will go up.

I am personally waiting for October, hopefully xbox rewards makes this even better.

Been waiting for Yar's Revenge, I love on-rails shooters like that, but with no outstanding reviews, never seemed worth the full price. Outland and Trouble Witches Neo seem great too! Glad to know the sale is on for a whole week, because I probably won't get to buy MS points until Friday!

Wow! Now this is what I've been waiting for. Going to be an awesome haul come October 1.

Yar's Revenge, Star Raiders, Outland, Moon Diver, Islands of Wakfu (maybe? I heard it was bad, but how bad could it be for $5?), Blade Kitten (maybe?), Bionic Commando 2, and Trouble Witches NEO! (never thought that would go on sale-gives hope for the other sweet shmups we have been waiting for) will all be mine!!

It's a shame Shank wasn't on sale for 400 points. It's been $5 on PSN so I'm not going to pay more than that to play it on Xbox.

So far I have queued up:

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime
Outland
Might & Magic Clash of Heroes™
TROUBLE WITCHES NEO

Considering (I only have enough points for one):
Bionic Commando 2
Blade Kitten
Islands of Wakfu

This is an amazing sale week.

The latest sale seems to be the best sale they've had all year. Its a good sale for XBLA(I've seen much better sales on Steam).

I'll wait till Friday to see what the one day deals are before I buy anything and I'll buy the rest of the stuff I want on Saturday(Oct. 1) just in case XBL Rewards has any offer for buying Marketplace content.

Outland is a great game and I really hope this sale bumps its numbers. I got the feeling that it didn't sell well after release. Even my girlfriend played through the first couple of hours after watching me play it. She probably would have finished if her Masters exams hadn't come up. It's a must buy. Even at full price the game was worth it.

I can't recommend Ghostbusters, Blade Kitten, or Star Raiders. Ghostbusters is the least bad of the bunch, but it's pretty boring. There aren't very many enemy types and the combat feels flat. It's pretty buggy as well. I haven't played since release, the but online was laggy as hell.

Blade Kitten is just dull. I played for an hour and it never got better. It was just the exact same thing over and over. It might change up or add more variety later on, but after an hour of that I wasn't interested in finding out. Try the demo.

I was really looking forward to Star Raiders because I hadn't played a space combat game in a long time. What a disappointment. I tried to push myself to play more but I wasn't enjoying myself and eventually gave up. The controls aren't that good, the presentation is bare bones, and it never becomes fun, at least it didn't for me.

So a couple people have said something about a 1 day sale on Friday. Is there a source for this? I'm super excited at the possibilty of more games going on sale.

How are you all finding these items on sale because there isn't anything on my xbox dashhoard. If I switch to family the dasboard shoes the dotw but only d&d & m&m. I tried restarting but I don't get a dotw on the standard dashboard.

scroll up to Game Marketplace. There should be a Extreme Shopping Sale tab.

I recommend trying the demo of Blade Kitten first. The game didn't get much better than the demo unless some miracle happens after the point I quit playing it.

I'm also curious as to where people are getting that there will be a 1 day sale on Friday. Anyone have a source?
If you open the ad on the dash it says it in the upper right corner
Ah, thanks! I haven't managed to fire up my Xbox yet, and couldn't find any report of it on the net yet.
