It was gone within 5 mins. I tried it and it said it was already redeemed. I wanted it for the same reason you do. ;)

Took a guess because I'm bored... how long does the gears beta last anyway?

Edit: Wait, am I reading this right? It only goes until the 15th... so get to play to for 2 weeks then you have to buy the full version?

Yours was one of the few correct guesses, albeit not the first. Ironically enough, the Old School edition code went to a new member, MrHughJass.

I will post a GOW3 beta that will be given out for the last week of the beta. Its better then nothing. To make that code hell to redeem I might be posting it in morse code :D

That's probably for the best. Since it's only going to be playable for 2 more weeks.

Finding that out kinda killed all my interest in it.

Sorry, but if you want my codes you gotta be a member. Be on the lookout for a topic from myself about those codes as I will not post them on here. I have too much respect for this board to let someone who doesn't contribute get what I have to offer.

Correct. And all that experience you spent the last month or so racking up disappears as well. You will get to carry over your spiffy Beta Tester medal and all the various beta unlockables, though. This is likely one of the reasons there is stil a continuing interest in the beta at this point.

Likely a Gamestop.ie code. Many of them were seemingly entered or OCR'd incorrectly. If you're bored, you can guess at which characters are incorrect and hope for the best.

Tried a bunch of different combinations for the Gears code and got nothing.

Either a Europe code, or I missed the right combination. Oh well.
 
not sure if this helps any one, or if this is related to xbox marketplace codes, but for MS office, my job was to make it deployable for all the pcs in my company. you can use a tool to make the key input during a silent installation. one day i was messing around with the tool, and wanted to create a quick installation with a random code. i used all A's (as you may have figured out, all MS codes seem to be 25 characters long) apparently, A is not a valid character for a licenes code in thos tool. as an example of one that work, all X's) my feeling is that if nothing else, the A in the code is wrong. again, this theory may not apply to xbox codes or other country codes.
just my 2 cents
