XBOX Code Drop ~ NO BEGGING! NO TRADING!

Changed the A to a 4. The code is valid and unused as of this comment. Just checked it. Common sense says that since there cant be an "A", maybe its a "4"... :p


EDIT: Checked a minute later and the code is used. Hopefully whoever used it says thanks. ;)

You can physically enter it on your Xbox 360. It will ask you to confirm redemption (prior to actually redeeming the code), at which point you would cancel out if you were just verifying the code's validity... If you enter the code online it will instantly redeem it (unless you already own the content).

But what I did was just go online to https://live.xbox.com/en-US/RedeemToken and I entered the code there. I knew that since I already had the beta that it would come up as "You already own this content." and I would be unable to redeem it. Therefore I could check any number of variations of the code and once I found the right one (it only took me 1 try ;)) it would simply tell me that I had the content already, leaving the code unredeemed for the next person to use. ;)

EDIT: Oh yeah, and BTW: The reason that MS does not use the letter "A" (or the letters "O", "I", "S", etc., and the numbers "0", "1", "5", etc.) is because they too closely resemble other letters or numbers. Especially when printed on paper/packaging as physical printing can be somewhat unreliable. "A" looks too similar to "4", as does "O" and "0", "I" and "1", and "5" and "S", so they just dont use those letters and numbers for codes. Just FYI. ;)

Pretty much. Just look for anyone with the online now status next to their name in this topic and look at their profile and I am sure you will see them sitting in this thread. It is kind of sad since most people just take codes for games they do not even own just to be the first to get the code but I guess this thread is kind of like a Slickdeal wet dream for gamers.

i have to say that is a bit like taht but also some users post codes without telling for what they are and so ...lurkers and not lurkers may take the code and don´t own/need that for nothing. Just pointing this matter too mates :booty:

Maybe you're just slow =P. I have no problem randomly opening the thread and getting stuff.

Been looking for that one for a long time... now I'm just missing the Metallica import :)

BTW, I'm pretty sure there's no use for the Warriors Of Rock & Van Halen manual codes. Van Halen was never made available for import, and warriors of rock is the latest (last?) game so there's nothing to import it into yet (never?).

Warriors Of Rock code did have one use now that I think about it, could be used to import Metallica for free during the first 2 weeks of release.

no problem mate, the code made the clues easy to decide on tbh

with what i've read, i thought it would be instantly lurked, so, rather than leave a good code in basic form to be easily lurked, i changed edited the first few things i could think of

heres hoping i can find a few more lying around in the future, should be getting that banshee prop (as with almost every other marketplace user) for spending x points last month, i'll throw that up here when i get it (i'm happy with my super meat boy)

Ok, so apparently I've had this code in my drawer for 2 months of live for several year now... I don't know if it still works or not, but a bigger problem is that I can't make out some of the numbers and letters on this thing so can anyone help out and check if it's still working?

i have a gears of war beta i dont want. i didnt really give the game a try. i played it once and liked black ops better. so i figure if i cant enjoy it, someone else can. just PM me and tell me how i can transfer it to you.. cuz i already downloaded it on my xbox. but i dont want to play it anymore lol

first person gets it i guess. i will delete this message after transferring the game

You have to give them the account email and password that you used to download it. If you did it on your main account and not some throwaway one, I wouldn't do that.

Sice your already in the Beta last I checked MS is giving atleast 1 code for you to give friends/others sometime before the beta ends. You can earn 4 others but they rely on purchases or huge amounts of beta gameplay hours.
