• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2026. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Did people really think you could?? This is a company that sells a premium controller that costs $200 whose solution to stick drift isn't to add Hall Effect analogs to the controller, but make it so you can buy additional replacement analogs to swap out instead when they do eventually drift.

Bioware has consistently had LGBT romances in all of their games since KotOR (excluding Anthem and Sonic). Inquisition had a trans NPC tied to one of the party members 10 years ago. The lead writer for the first 3 Dragon Age games is gay. Broadening out to more WRPGs, the creator of Fallout is gay. Some of New Vegas' best characters are gay, in a game without romances. Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk both had trans and gay characters, as have many WRPGs for the last 20 years.

I will agree with pathetic. Everyone needs their side to "win" so if they see one side give their view they need to jump in and be louder, and then the first side needs to counter that and before you know it its just a bunch of people screaming and yelling about nothing.

Did you completely forget Mass Effect Andromeda? The "hate"/concern is 100% justified. I can only speak for myself, but it's good that you're excited for it but you can't simply deny people being burned by that game and say they're wrong because you're "hyped".


I wouldn't say it's anything bad to be weary of this considering Dragon Age is forcing a lot of this gay/trans messaging in their game and appealing to "modern audiences" has stripped away plenty of series main attraction to the game/gameplay over the years. I'm not even sure how you could possibly argue against this, as Splinter Cell is the one I think of the most. It basically turned into a 3rd person shooter instead of a stealth game. I will say this too, despite what most people in this thread might believe. Gay, trans, or minorities can and have made terrible products. No one is immune to being human and having flaws.

I am sure that is going to happen here too. I am not looking for some hidden message/ agenda. Simply looking for some fun, It can be filled with messages like Metaphor Refantazio or just simple like Astro Bot. Neither of which alter my opinions because I am enjoying the medium.

EA/Bioware denied review codes to anyone who was even mildly critical of the game so don't expect the review scores to accurately reflect the state of the game. CEOs often get financial bonuses based on higher metacritic scores. I just went to see if ACG's review of Veilguard is up, looks like he didn't get a review code either. Best to wait until more trusted reviewers get their hands on the game.

The issue here (and extremely relevant this week) is that BioWARE is in trouble having not had a hit since. . .well I've never been a super fan so I can't say, but the point is sales are all that matter. Reports were that pre-order sales were soft and they're fighting for their lives at this point. The call from leadership was likely to ensure it sells with strong reviews, because they simply couldn't afford to have lesser review scores going into the holiday season. Player's wallets are tight so people no longer just buy anything they're interested in and instead rely on sure bets.

This year has been a purge for AAA and when Ubisoft is still on the chopping block, bet your ass BioWARE could be next.

100% Frog Detective last night. Super short game, but stretched it out for the achievements and such. It was really everything I thought in charming character designs and funny writing carrying the whole game and goddamn it did. It looks like a fun tribute to Ratchet and Clank games and reminds me a little of Metal Arms Glitch in the System.

The player count was too low for a F2P transition to make sense. The options would have been either let the game flounder at $40 for months while they implemented F2P monetization, or make it immediately free and lose money every day running the servers for months until they could get monetization in. Fortnite basically did that when they launched BR, but it's not a very smart move in the very different situation Concord was in.

Even if they tried, I don't think that studio had the chops to make cosmetics people would buy. Out of the top-tier unlockable outfits they had, only 2 or 3 looked good.

I don’t need it to be explained to me because it’s been shoved down everyone’s throats for at least the past 5 years. These excessive pronouns and genders are a small minor of the population that has been propped up as some dire social situation in media and news. It’s completely reasonable to not want modern issues like this shoved in a game. Video games are for escapism. Why would that crap be in a medieval fantasy world? It breaks the immersion of the game.

Not a fan of the guy for the most part, but House of the Dead is such a low stakes and near non existent lore of a franchise that it'll be hard to mess up. In the very least as bad as he is at majority of his movies, he won't be making anything close to the worst movie in the franchise thanks to Uwe Boll.

That all said, have the characters kill zombies via a Dreamcast strapped to their back and a keyboard in front of them and I'll declare it the best movie ever.

I started playing Metal Slug Attack and it’s certainly a mobile game ported to Xbox. I don’t know what to make of it really. I was super frustrated playing it for an hour until I realized I needed to grind and now I have auto battle turned on and the game is just playing itself at this point and I…..like it? There is certainly something that is stimulating my brain when I open their loot boxes to get new characters to use in battle. Then I just listen to classic metal slug noise while I do tasks on my computer and the game plays itself.

Yes, it failed to live up to the majesty of the original ME trilogy, but very little could and in that regard it never stood a chance.

But the combat is excellent and exploration is fun. I maintain that if it had been a brand-new IP and not the sequel to some of the most highly regarded games of the last 25 years, it wouldn't have been judged so harshly and would have more of a cult following (ala Binary Domain and other B list classics).

Finally, the easiest way to weed out echo chamber Youtube channels is to ignore anyone and anything that uses the word 'woke' unironically to criticize anything.

I hope it's so woke that they have micro-transactions in order to continue your game when you lose a battle but you can circumvent them by saying 'Black Lives Matter' into your headset and everyone who doesn't like it can pay $0.99 instead.

I hope it's so woke that there are multiple guilds to join but they're all represented by more obscure pride flags for things like demisexuality, agender, pansexuality, etc and when you join them those traits get added to your character, and it's all optional but if you choose not to join a guild out of protest for wokeness that you can't get the best endgame armor.

Some of those HasLabs are incredible and I wish I could justify the cost. I love that Ghostbusters one. It is probably one of the few I feel I could display well. The Ghost from Star Wars Rebels looked great and the Razorcrest was awesome but I have no where to display them. The Galactus and the Giant Man figures are really well done. I have a friend who got both of them.

I love collecting stuff but I try to limit myself now to specific Black Series characters, Marvel Legends I get cheap at Ollie's and Jada Toys Mega Man and some of the Street Fighter figures. I got the Franken Berry Figure from Ross for $11 a week ago and it is awesome. I also love the NECA Iron Maiden figures.

there are no straight people and your character has to inject cross-sex hormone therapy in order to heal during battles, kinda like in Far Cry where you administer emergency pain meds, but instead it's estrogen.

I hope it's so woke that they have micro-transactions in order to continue your game when you lose a battle but you can circumvent them by saying 'Black Lives Matter' into your headset and everyone who doesn't like it can pay $0.99 instead.

I hope it's so woke that there are multiple guilds to join but they're all represented by more obscure pride flags for things like demisexuality, agender, pansexuality, etc and when you join them those traits get added to your character, and it's all optional but if you choose not to join a guild out of protest for wokeness that you can't get the best endgame armor.

I haven't even had enough money to spend on new Legends, SWB, or X-men '97 figures I've wanted this year. Thank god Hasbro has had to slow down on their figure output finally. Have you noticed how they have been struggling too?? It's a really weird time. These are like the after-effects of the previous couple of years of post-COVID business.

A lot of Hasbro toys ended up at Ross last holiday season. So far not too much this year.

I'm not into the Marvel stuff, though I did preorder that Dragon Man because it looked cool. But I'm all over the Transformers (obviously) and G.I. Joe Classified stuff. Got multiples of each of their HasLabs. The Joe Dragonfly should be shipping soon. Went in on the Ghostbusters HasLabs, with the trap / PKE meter also shipping soon. Have backed off on the Star Wars collecting because a line needed to be drawn somewhere. Picked up a few things here and there, though I have backed most of those HasLabs. Didn't know about the Sail Barge, the first HasLab I became aware of was Unicron through the Transformers news sites I watch. I have the Razor Crest and was in on the Ghost and Cantina. Even backed the Black Series Rancor that failed, but not the Reva light saber.

Was a bit surprised Big Bad Toy Store got an exclusive on a rerun of Titan Omega Supreme, but was glad to see it because that was the only regular release Titan I'm missing.

I saw Hasbro has gone through some layoffs. Prices go up as well. I was in a discussion on another forum about the prices of Titans, and someone said they doubled in price in the last few years, so I had to check. Metroplex released in 2013 at $125 MSRP. Sat at $150 for a few years, with Devastator, Fort Max, Predaking and Trypticon coming each year from 2015-8. Then a bump to $160 for Omega Supreme and Scorponok in 2019 and 2020. $170 for Black Zarak and the Ark in 2021. Then straight to $200 in 2022 for Cybertron Metroplex, and has held there since for the Guardian Robot, Nemesis, Tidal Wave and the recent reissues of Fort Max, Scorponok and Omega. Not quite doubling, and it occurred over the course of a decade. I've seen rumors of Star Convoy possibly being the next Titan, curious what that will be priced at.

They said they'd slow down, but it doesn't seem like it with Transformers and G.I. Joe. Got plenty of preorders out, and they revealed the Studio Series Devastator last weekend, with some components going up for preorder a couple days ago. But Hasbro owns G.I. Joe and their collaboration with Takara on Transformers probably has fewer limitations than what they have to put up with from Disney over Star Wars and Marvel. Pretty sure some of those HasLab failures were because of Disney. Setting higher prices (Ghost Rider), pushing Reva's light saber while the Kenobi series was going and not including Malakili (Rancor Keeper) or Oola (the green slave girl the Rancor ate) for the Rancor HasLab. Not that there aren't restrictions with Transformers or G.I. Joe, but Tranformers is legal (G1 Megatron's gun mode) and it's understandable that there's apparently a Hasbro mandate preventing a hooded Cobra Commander figure.
