• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Paso Inferior Speed Trap - S2 998 Anything Goes - 160 mph (3 stars is 105) - Hit 206.61 with the Rimac.  Started on the highway at the Malpaís Trailblazer gate.  When you cross the interchange and a road merges from the south, cut toward the sign just after the guard rail ends.  That should minimize the bouncing on the terrain that costs you speed.  I started another run on the road that merges up from the south, cut after the guard rail and still managed to just clear the target speed.

I played the trial/beta before it came out and hated it. Even on Game Pass, no reason for me to play which sucks.

IMO, there is fun to be had with 2042.  I played it a bit longer for all the achievements and started having fun with it.  It needed a lot of work (and is getting it), but it won't live up to previous games at all.  They need to listen to the community and do Bad Company 3.  That would give the series a much needed boost in interest.

The original game was definitely more focused, and I think it's the best in a less-is-more way, even if later games are superior graphically and mechanically. As much as I enjoy FH5, I find the amount of stuff to do and constant diversions a little overwhelming at times.

Yeah, as a FH vet, the maps have too much stuff on them now. I'm sure it's overwhelming for a newbie.

This has probably been mentioned here or on Reddit before, but I just discovered the receipt scanning on the Bing app. I got a couple bucks from taking pictures of my grocery store receipts from last week. That's already more than I've ever gotten from Bing cashback that never seems to work for me.

Yeah FH1 is great. Back then they put effort into the festival idea and the sense of progression is fun. New games they throw 100 things on the map and give you all the fancy cars from the start.

So, I haven't put FH1 down since I started over again after 10 years ago. You dont realize how easy the newer games are until you play the old ones again. I love how they did the PR stunts at the Horizon locations to earn fast travel and I love how they dont make the cars transparent during challenge, that is part of the challenge is to dodge real cars. Also, because money is much more limited, I havent spend 1 credit on a car or upgrade (thats CAG racing), so the races are much more equal and challenging. Plus, you cant just cut across anything, you hit a pole or tree or guard rail you come to a stop quickly, unlike the newer games, you can drive through almost anything. If any of you havent played in a while, give it another try, will be surprised, Wish the MP servers were still up now. Sorry for off topic post again.

My only complaint about Guardians of the Galaxy is it has ONE random glitched achievement with the have Groot heal you 10 times. My achievement tracker is stuck at 90% regardless of how many times I have him heal and me deleting the game off my storage or downloading and playing on my other Series X or even trying it on my One X (where it ing STRUGGLES with the game). With that said really, really enjoyed all the characters and simple gameplay, but the writing more than makes up for it.

You probably already tried this but delete the game, log out of the series X and do the hard reboot (not sleep) then log back in and redownload it.

I got all the new Halo achievements that were single player.  It was pretty easy with the mission replay.  It looks like the co-op stuff needs a new game for clearing the FOBs.  Some requiring 3 people for activating 3 things really fast.

Tomorrow I should be done with 1000 daily conversation in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It's a fun game, but it's turned into a log on once a day for 5 minutes thing.  I still need 1700 thorns clear and only 10 spawn a day.  That's much faster than running down characters and talking to all of them though.

Gotham Knights I can see being $35 given what a shitshow it is. MW2…it’s not a stinker like Vanguard and to a lesser extent, Cold War. I would say $40 as the price target.

I think Quarry is supposed significantly shorter than Plague Tale. The latter leaves Game Pass in the future though so you may want to play that to avoid a last minute FOMO rush before the game leaves, if your backlog is that bad.

Hotline Miami loads the press any button screen with the boombox on it, i hit a button it goes to game select screen then in seconds it fades to black and dumps back to the dashboard. Sounds terrible. Did you try clearing the system cache or resetting the console? Resetting is a bit of a pain to do since you have to update all your games again, but sometimes that fixes strange errors like you are seeing.

Like I said this is a last resort option for me since it will make you have to update alll your games again which if you have a lot installed can be a pain. You will also lose history from system apps like Network settings.

I had weird issues with my Xbox One X years ago and resetting the console made it perform like new for me.

If anyone is in the fence about Signalis, Just play it already. I got about 40 minutes in last night and it's ing awesome. Recommend playing with a nice set of headphones if possible, the sound design is really great and adds a lot to it, which you might not expect for a retro throwback game.

I did end my fighting game controller search. I bought a Junkfood Arcades Snackbox Micro from ebay. It has LEDs and Noir layout, and the one I bought came with the art case. No more custom, just going to do this for SF6. Picture from google, but a good example.

I ended up buying a Samsung 970 Evo Plus for $190 along with a gift card and rewards points at Best Buy. It's still $200, It seems they want to clear out the Gen 3 M2s so that people will actually buy the Gen 4s.

Now we just need a hardware revision for the Series X that utilizes standard M2 drives.

I won't have the words to explain it better than glancing through that. I know I would often miss diagonals through simple inaccuracy that this changes the burden of execution.

I just spent the night playing Vampire Survivors, something clicked and I unlocked a bunch of things including stages 2 and 3. Many achievements. My best run so far was with knife guy, I felt like an R-Type ship churning out death as long as I moved in a direction.

I can't see buying a drive before the holiday weekend itself, prices will only go down.

Anyone have issues with downloading? I upgraded my modem and router today to take full advantage of my speeds. Did a test on the Xbox and it said 1162 Mbps so I was stoked. Started an update on Flight Simulator and it was at 300 Mbps for about 1 minute and now it dropped back to my old speeds and in some cases even worse. I did not spend $250 to have the same crap as before.

I can’t say that this is your issue, but if I have any quick resume games open at all it kills my download speeds.
