hmm i may have to try that then. I usually use goof off for the stubborn stuff but that stuffs harsh and cant be used on delicate surfaces. The best thing i've found is a fabric softener sheet after its been in the dryer for a few minutes. Weird but it works well. Just requires a lot of elbow grease to rub the stuff off

Mine arrived in decent shape. I got lucky as the air packs burst inside but it was still undamaged. 

 
Got mine for 77$ with GCU. Honestly, worst special edidion ive picked up this year. USB has some weight and nice feel to it, but is locked down. Artbook was meh at best. Biggest problem is the lottery on shipping. A lot are coming damaged. 

Id hoped this was going to be something special, it really wasnt.

 
these must be all the damaged returns...guessing amazon and bestbuy will have boatloads of these given the collectors edition thread complaints.

 
I was pissed. I thought this game came out, and I found out it did. I had a preorder at TRU. I checked it and it said waiting for availability... When I preordered it was available... They never called or emailed me about this. Luckily, Amazon has some available right now so i bought that and canceled the TRU one. Saved like $3 cuz no tax so whatever.

yeap that the stuff and yea here some pics of a box i did two weeks ago that had two layers of AWD stickers on it and as you can see the box is fine and the stickers come off in one piece.

it very flammable and strong fumes so make sure you use it in well ventilated area that why i usually do it outside on the porch.

Mine arrived yesterday in pretty much perfect condition with some bubble packing on top but nothing on the bottom or sides.  Got lucky.  

Now just to decide whether to keep the regular edition or the collector's.

Also pissed about not being able to move the music off the fucking drive. The soundtrack was a big selling point for me, and I assumed I'd be able to burn it onto a CD to keep in my car. The same way I've been able to with literally every other USB-Soundtrack I've gotten.

Oh well, is the artbook cool at least? I have been swamped and haven't had a chance to check it out yet. It was supposed to be 100+ pages right?

How many of them are legal?

If I'm gonna be asked to do something illegal and/or reach around my ass to get to my elbow, I might as well just download the tracks off a torrent or youtube or something. That's far easier than the ONE solution I've seen posted thus far..... of course if I were gonna do that I wouldn't have bought the CE to begin with.

But I haven't read this whole thread so if I'm missing something I'd love it if you enlightened me.

several ways

Tell Windows to open .wav files with Google Chrome
-Open the first file on the drive with Chrome
-Right-click on the page it opens, hit "Save As..."
-Select where you want it (ideally its own folder)
-Repeat for the whole selection of 10 tracks
-Convert using another program into MP3 file format (or AAC, or whatever else)

Open the soundtrack and then open 7zip as an admin

Type in Z:\NLLastF\ in 7 zip and copy the file in 7zip to get the files

1. Go to control panel and set the default audio program for .WAV files to Itunes.
2. Double click each song to play them in Itunes - they will be "added" to your library as you go.
3. Select all songs in Itunes, right-click, and there should be an option to convert to MP3. Keep USB in until done.
4. Voila! You have the songs saved to a location on your computer. They are playable in Itunes without the USB.

Option 1 sounds a bit tedious but certainly worth a try.  Or I guess I could reinstall itunes  :cry:

Kind of off topic, but Best Buy is doing a buy one get one 40% off next week on games by Nintendo. If you have not opened it, you can return/rebuy along with another game and get 40% off that game!

If it's open maybe the manager can make an exception since you clearly want to keep it.

Is the artbook that blea? Thats the only reason im even considering opening mine. The other stuff is crap. If its that shit i may just get a vanilla copy when it drops down the road and leave this sealed

Wow that works really well. That woulda taken forever with my method. Can you walk me through how you use it on stuff like that? Do you just dab it on the corners? Soak the whole sticker? Scrape it with a razorblade?

Im OCD about my shit and cant live with stickers and junk on it =P

IME they wouldn't, but that won't stop you from buying another copy of XCX and another game then returning the second XCX with the old receipt.

If it does, then I may consider Toad's Treasure too just for the sake of having it. It's the only "major" 1st party release I don't have for WiiU yet. After GCU, how much would it come down to? Like $20 right? Because that's what I said I'd be willing to pay for it lol.

That would also solve my problem with the expiring reward certs lol

I normally love art books, didn't like this one at all.

 
got my LE from amazon.de this afternoon.  just in a snug cardboard box.  outer box is damaged in the corners but contents were not damaged.  Steelbook looks great and the artbook is snazzy... would have preferred a larger book, but it's still nice.  Now to pick up a vanilla copy of the game when it goes on sale...

 
Anyone got a Guide for this from Amazon yet? Mine was supposed to deliver today, yet it hadn't shipped and it stealthily got pushed back to next week.

Starting to get annoyed with Amazon lately.

 
The heck then....mine was Tuesday with Prime. I chatted with the rep and she upped me to one day, but it pushed my order back into not having a delivery date....

At this point I'm not even gonna need the thing anymore with all the data popping up online

 
Got mine today. They shipped it with a package of 100 8.5 X11 sticker paper(wives u_U) .

As expected it took a beating in transit. Complained and am getting one shipped and should arrive by Friday. 

 
i got mine all intact all 4 of them but i will return 3 of them coz my friend dont want it no more (due dont have fund)

Probably. It's times like that I wish I had a store. I'd have my own rule about returns: If you are returning more than 2 of anything it would have to be sealed, and you'd get just a hair more than what Gamestop would give you if it was opened. That's assuming it's something rare; otherwise I wouldn't take it at all.

I love having the freedom to return things when necessary but damn do some of you people abuse the hell out of it.

if you had fully read my post (seem you havent) my friend wont take it so i return them in store (store wont said a word it 30 day return no question ask)

Basically he bought 4 thinking it might be rare and resell later. But found out they still have them up on sites. His so called "friend" doesnt want the 3 copies.

I'll be embarrassed to return 3 in the store. Employee gonna look at me weird.

has for you i can careless if you believe or not . i can sell them for profit with ease since i havent paid much for it 71$ each but not everyone are like you thinking about making profit but i rather return it so someone can enjoy it without paying high price or offer to user who know me here (you got alot to learn in live being selfish it not good that something you should LEARN! :wall: )
