I don't know whether I should post this in the Craigslist Stupidity thread, or the Craigslist Finds thread. It was definitely a score for me cash wise, though the buyer could definitely qualify for this topic.
Anyway, when Wacko Jacko died, I went to my parents' house to try to find any and all Michael Jackson memorabilia my older sister had left there in storage, I mean she had a bunch of his shit from back in the day. I knew she had some original posters from his younger days, but I think I sold all of them on eBay a few years ago, damn my timing

. I'm talking vintage, hilarious posters of him in an all banana yellow outfit, a poster of him shaking hands with E.T., just some old school early 80's quality goodness.
Anyway, I only found 2 prints of the original "We Are the World" posters, and said

it, I'm going to list it on craigslist to see if I can't get a bite from some batshit crazy MJ fan:

The "signatures" I mention, BTW, were all printed on the poster (that's not a pic of the actual poster, I tried to find a pic of the actual poster online but couldn't...it's the same picture but with their sigs at the bottom and a border around it), these aren't actual autographs by the artists after the poster was printed, but rather they all signed the master print and then it was sent to the printing press or whatever. But they are original printings, as it even indicates it was printed in 1985 and "printed in West Germany".
Anyway, I got a few emails, nothing concrete, but then this one girl emailed me and offered me $100 for it. So obviously, I sold that puppy posthaste. She picked it up yesterday afternoon. Now I just wonder if I should sell the other one (at least, if I can find another person who will pay $100 for it or even close to that amount) or keep it, LOL.
Here is the email conversation we had (the "I sold one for $100" response I sent was a total lie...when she responded with the $75 offer I was ready to jump on it, but I guess because I didn't check my email immediately, she thought I wasn't going to accept so she almost immediately sent me another email that she'll pay $100 for it...DAMN! Okay, I totally feel evil, but hey she was willing to pay $100 for it so I took $100 for it):
Her original email:

Hello!
Thank you for posting! I'm an aspiring music artist myself living here in LA, was about to go to my audio recording theory class when I heard the news.
The "We are the world" song means a lot to me as I am Mexican/Pakistani and it was the first time I felt inclusive of any mainstream song here in the states, it was how I became proud to be American as a child.
I wanted to ask what was the last offer you received on the poster. Although I am an artist, I do have some money saved up but also didn't want to insult you with what might be a low offer.
Kindest regards,
Sofia M.

Hi, thanks for the interest. I had two of them but sold one for $100. So, I'd like to sell my last one for around that, but feel free to make an offer.

Would $75 be too low for you?

I just got someone to help me out with the extra $25, so I can pay $100, thank goodness... And I can drive to Culver City today before my songwriting workshop 7pm @ UCLA
