Emailed this winner about SNES games he's been attempting to sell for the past 6 months+ at WAY overinflated pricing for most, just to see if perhaps they were complete and mint or sealed considering the asking prices...I mean these prices are a tad out there.

That's not bad, You would be suprised how much some people pay for those old PC's, Some people love messing around with them. I'm sure alot of people woudl jump at that for $15.
 
Yeah, $15 for an old computer, no matter what the age or the condition, is not bad. People love to tinker with computers. I would probably consider it, if it was near me.

I'm awash in outdated PCs that I can't sell! Most are projects that I acquired from college a few years ago that I've abandoned but I've tried selling them as recreational parts on CL and never had any takers.

In my area at least (NJ is pretty close), old PCs are next to impossible to move and even then most free, old PCs are unclaimed. Region and availability are YMMV.

What's funny is you can tell just by reading this list that he has NO IDEA WHAT HE IS LOOKING FOR! He's the type that hears a particular game is worth something and decides to go look for it.

Wtf is Inindo? And he just wants FF7 "black label version", the GH is worth just as much almost!

I admit that I put adds on craigslist to buy items to resell, but i put in my add that I will buy out all unwanted videogame items they have. I also tell people that I buy sell and trade, many people want to buy and many want to trade, I get alot of people that don't care if a game is rare they just want to trade a SNEs/PSX and games for PS2/360 stuff.

I have Inindo actually (I'm not selling/trading it if anyone wants to ask...). Its an obscure turn based RPG by KOEI (yeah, KOEI did an RPG!). Its one of the games on that list that probably IS only worth $10 (if its game only), but its more uncommon to find than valuable.

lets see - at my job most of these sell for 20 or less - I know forza motorsport comes packed in with some of the marvel alliance games as a double feature type of deal and we still only sell the set for 15 bucks. IMO, 70 bucks TOPS and that's being generous

Actually not too bad of a price for the set + 11 games, provided they're in really good condition. I have a buddy who lives next door and someone sold him an xbox set with a bunch of games for 100 bucks and most of the games had scratches like he'd used a car key to gouge out parts of the plastic. effing-a!

1) It's only a good deal if you actually want all 11 of those mostly sub-$10 used games.

Well I'm thinking of it more or less from the standpoint of where I work - most of those games sell for 15-20 in mostly excellent condition (our store's extremely picky about what we accept) and an xbox with one controller goes for 100 bucks

True, I get the mocking part - maybe I shouldn't have thought about it all too much :lol:
