I don't really want to post the contents of that one...probably just one lowballer trying to disparage his competitor...especially since I didn't see a phone number in the original ad, so how exactly did this guy call him?

I don't know why people post those "looking for these games" ads with rarities and high values listed...virtually no chance in hell of actually scoring with those ads.

This listing isn't so bad - a collector offloading some extras and possibly trying to trade for some carts he's missing.

I keep seeing this guy's ad, and I'd swear one of those shelf photos belonged to someone here, so, sorry if I offend, but chances are the guy stole the shelf photos, too. $300 for all that is kinda fair.

Those black sports dreamcasts can sell for like $30-$50.

That agetec green goblin is highly valued by fighting game players. Big Marcus, one of the best in the midwest at SSF4, uses one with adapters on the 360/PS3 still, and they get sold for around $50 on average.

If those games are all originals and not burned copies -
Power Stone 2 is around $40.
The Last Blade 2 goes for around $30.
3rd strike goes for around $30.
Sonic Adventure 2 is about $20.

Those games add up. I wouldn't say paying around $10 for the rest of each of those would be too much to ask.

Just the games is at least $200 worth, even not taking top dollar ebay prices into consideration. Again, if they aren't burned copies, and are originals, which they seem to be.

I think that if someone wanted a good dreamcast collection to start off with paying $275 for that lot would be a very good deal.
 
Sadly, some people are super convinced that games and consoles are worth far more than they really are. Just saw a rerun of Storage Wars tonight in which one such person was convinced that his newly-acquired "NES-001" (the first Nintendo DS ever built, according to him) was worth $13,000. The poor idiot had obviously seen this auction and thought everyone was going crazy over the console itself.

$300 is a pretty good price for everything considering how much everything goes separately. Black DC goes on average $30-$60 and if complete,more.Fight stick can fetch over $100 if complete.

The stupid part of this post is that he is trying to sell games he stole from Redbox (hence the missing cases and booklets) and his explanation is that he "collects cases." Yeah, right. Is that why every single game disc in the Redbox kiosk in his area has been replaced by blank DVD-Rs? Jerk, and that's why I reported him to redbox.

I know. Most people rent the dvds and make copies or just don't return the game disks at all. I was just pissed at the guy bc I got screwed the other day. I ended up with 2 blank DVD-Rs instead of the game I wanted.

I don't think redbox is quite on the honor sysetm. That is why you have to use a credit card if you don't return it you get charged.
