So what are you going to spend all your time bitching about now, your boss wanting you to get important work done?
This guy (the president again of the organization I'm in) is a dick. I have a personal issue going on that I don't fucking feel like meeting with him today, a goddamn Sunday, to talk about the schedule for next quarter. I emailed him last night, well over 12 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting, to let him know this. Yet he continues to harass me via phone and email about still wanting to meet. I didn't specify what the personal issue was in the email so a family member could have died for all he knows and all he cares about is being a fucking asshole. I've just been ignoring all his emails and calls pretending I'm not around. This guy is really being an asshole with no respect.

Pea Es: The personal issue is I broke up with my boyfriend last night. The distance and communication problems related to that were just too much. I don't want to go into it any further, but I was the one to break it off after much talk and deliberation. I'm sure you're all happy to hear that my relationship failed, but don't be a bunch of fucking assholes about it like this guy is being. We might get back together when he returns to the States, but as for right now it's just too much with him being 9000 miles away.
To be fair, DoK, 12 hours to cancel a meeting isn't a great deal of time, whether it can be helped or not. Though, of course, if your boss really is a jerk, it wouldn't matter anyway.

little, tiny people.

You probably didn't see my previous posts about him, but yeah, he really is a jerk. I understand it wasn't too much notice, but for all knows, a family member could have died and he's just being a jerk about it.

And this isn't very important work. It could have easily been done over the internets.

My GF says her great, great, great grandpa was the Grand Dragon of the KKK. However, I can't seem to find any info. She said she thinks its John William Blackaby, but The Google fails me.

I remember seeing a sticker like that on the back of a car. It was really faded.

Well, that was a nice siesta. Now for breakfast. Or ... lunch.

... Dinner?
The final boss in God of War almost ruined the entire, fucking *spectacular*, experience of the rest of the game (this was my first time playing it). Cheap as fuck, and not fun at all. That was on normal difficulty, too. Oh well. I'm very much looking forward to the second game.
I thought it was kinda lame, but not difficult. It just didn't feel big enough.
I completely forgot about that. I think this "scene" was doomed from the start. After fighting through all of Pandora's Temple, all the energy comes to a climax at the end of that temple, and then you are thrown into a situation where you spend 15 minutes + simply running and jumping.
There really needed to be a boss at the end of that temple. And at a few other places.

I don't know if sleeping 12+ hours straight is going to finally get rid of this cold, but goddammit, that is what I'm going to try. And then following it up with some grilled steak.

I don't think the fucker is gonna know what hit it.

/back to sleep

I just like when those metasymbols of American culture are combined in dreadfully arranged ways. The eagle with the flag on its face with the phrase "these colors don't run" is perfectly suited for that.

It wasn't difficult on easy, but it was cheap, IMO, on higher levels (I really resented playing through the game on normal and having to reduce the difficulty to "easy" at the final fucking battle to beat the game). It's not a complex battle, but it seems the responsiveness of Kratos dies in this fight. It was really frustrating to me.

As for the other bosses, the unlockable videos in GoW make it seem like the game was really unfinished in the state it was released in. After fighting the Hydra in the beginning, it blew me away that there were only a few more major boss fights (2 IIRC, including all the iterations of the final battle). The levels and gameplay left out seem to suggest that, as good as the game was, we only got a portion of it.

The first part was damn easy. The protection bit was incredibly easy as soon as I remembered about the "rage of the gods" thing (only the second time I had used it in the game) specifically the unlimited magic. The last part was more annoying than anything else. I was surprised I could tap buttons that quickly. Of course, I had to switch hand positioning each time that came up. My right thumb isn't even up to the task of finishing off a Minotaur.

Seeing the deleted stuff from GoW makes me want to play the sequel nearly as much as what we did get to experience.

I feel so much better know that the "Klan Kids Kare"...With a K...ofkourse.

Sblymnyxcracka - I think God of War 2 is going to be what they wanted the original to be. This time around they have the time to get all they want crammed into it and more money. I know I'm ready.
Time Warner just updated our digital cable recently, and I can't say I like the changes. It does go faster, but the entire look of it is very unattractive. For about a week or so before it was done updating, it was insanely slow. There was a huge lag between a button press and the response. It was annoying.
Didn't notice any period of slowness or lag it just had these new features one day. The thing really was a POS before they added these things. I mean a DVR that can't properly time slip? Just awful. But using the DVR from the cable company is just so much cheaper than getting a true Tivo that I just dealt with it.

No resume still sucks, but again I can deal with it. I find myself not wanting to start in on a 2 hour movie if I know I won't get the whole way through. Too much hassle to FF an hour in the next time I want to pick it up. But at least I'm not getting in at 8:45 and thinking, "Gee I'd really like to watch Survivor, but I'll just get a bit in and then have to FF back to my spot at 9 when it kicks me out. May as welll watch a Jeopardy and jump on Survivor a bit after 9." Having to adapt myself to a gizmo's shortcomings really pisses me off. Honestly when I think about the no resume thing. Ugh. All it has to do is store less than 1KB of info per show (the timestamp where you left off) and then have the ability to jump to any timestamp on a program. This should be trivial stuff.

Oh, my DVR allows you to do that. What cable service do you use? If it's Time Warner, I would imagine that it would all be pretty standard from cable box to cable box.

I have to say that I was surprised to see the ability to snap people's necks in GTA:VCS if you sneak up behind them, grab them, and press the grab button once more. It never got old.

About to make some burritos de chile verde in a bit, just need my mom to give me the instructions again. She gave them to me yesterday but I was at the supermarket and I couldn't write it down.

Any tips when buying avacados? Got one yesterday but it was too hard.

My boss issued a memo that claims that "upper management" is "monitoring all online activity", in the context that we cannot use the Internet anymore.

I call bullshit...
I wish the PSP was cheaper, I'd like to play VCS.

It'll probably come to PS2... but portability is cool.
It came out on PS2 last week.

I want Dead Rising. I need to find somewhere where is cheaper than 60 bucks.

Lowest I have seen it for was 41 bucks....still not low enough for me though.
ebay
You know....and i dont know what this makes me but.....I fucking hate Ebay and i have no idea why.

It remind me way to much of a Swap Meat. When someone says ebay it reminds me a trailer park with thousands of people trading bones.

Its just to unorganized for me....I much prefer amazon.
It's nice to see hupp is banned. Hopefully that's for good.
I'm a child and I laughed.

My girl is watching this Search for the next Pussycat Dolls thing.

What the fuck? Why is there a search of the next pussycat doll? There is like 13 of them in the group already and only 2 of them sing in the first place.

Shouldnt it be....Search of the Next Backup Dancer.

Man TV is very dissapointing.

I don't disagree with you, but you're confounding a lot of things here:

1) Wanting to play Dead Rising ASAP
2) Not wanting to pay a lot for it
3) Disliking eBay

One of those things is gonna have to give, hombre. There are a few auctions on eBay right now that will close at just over $30 shipped. That's a price you can't touch anywhere else on the web. Unless you want to wait until it becomes a Platinum Hit, which may be in a couple months, or near Christmas. Otherwise, you'll just have to drop $45 or so for it on Amazon. eBay can be a chore to deal with, but if you want it now and you want it cheap, there's not much choice for you.

Either way, don't get it unless you own an HDTV. You won't be able to read the text in the game without one.

Does Ebay only work by paypal? I am very very self conscious of 3rd party anything. I am a guy who its like, You give me product, I give you money. I am very scared of giving money to X factor so that person can give you money....type of deal. You know.

So i will take another look at ebay if i can somehow do that...like i can on amazon.

He's a GameFAQs reject that trolled the Wii forums. His vocabulary never evolved past "insults" like gay and queer.

I think its $25 at gamecrazy.

Note to self:

Don't mention fasting, eBay, or reality TV near Soodmeg. He'll throw a hissy fit.

Hahaha, Frisky, shows how behind I am. I'll pick that up sometime, I love the Vice City area.

Edit: Cooking Mama Wii is 50 bucks? Boo! It should be budget like the first one was.

I'll wait 'til it's 30.
