Man, what a weekend.

I was 100% sure I'd be in Jail right now.
Well murdering, and burying a gaggle of traveling hobos, tramps, and bums is never easy.
Well I have my desktop PC that I can use the monitor from. I have everything hooked up to a wired router. Just a folder or two with pictures, nothing else is needed.

How would I connect the monitor? USB? Ethernet?
Usually on a laptop there is a lil monitor icon. By hitting that and the function(FN maybe) at the same time should switch the video over.

Well, I saw the 300, and only one word can describe it. Gratuious.

Come to ancient Sparta! Where abs were taught, nipples were hard, and heads roll off in a strong breeze.

But I did like that ATHF preview. What was up with that chicken though?
You may have typed in the code correctly, but that doesn't mean that its the right code. There are hidden settings in the installs that differentiate between retail, OEM, volume license, Dell, HP, Gateway, IBM, etc... If you were trying to use an official retail XP CD and trying to activate it with a Dell license, it wouldn't work. Its weird though because when you use Dell/HP/Gateway recovery media, you don't have to enter the key or activate. The recovery media even lets you install on machines that aren't from that company, yet they ask for activation. Something in the bios methinks... but thats a tangent.

Look at the COA (sticker with xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxxx-xxx-xxxxxxxx) on it. It'll say Windows XP Professional and then under that it will say Dell/Gateway/HP/OEM/ETC... What ever that says is the type of install media you need to use for that key to work.
Yeah, like I don't do this for a living...I know all that. (no offence meant in my tone...)

I wish I had seen this post earlier, so I could have had a timlier response. I was pissed because of the CSR's inability to understand I was trying to activaye my key, not get a new one.

welcome back gmooj! now get crackin on fixin that monitor cuz you owe us some pics. that, and why the fuck were you going to get arrested?! aside from keeping a donkey on your front yard being against city ordinances in your state.

Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime was most enjoyable, and a great distraction while being sick. I clocked 20 hours after unlocking everything, and still kind of want to play it just to make my tank better, which is a wholly stupid idea but I still want to do it.

Bleh. I have more games to backlog out of anyway.

/starting to feel better

Good thing about IMAX - almost no trailers. They had a spidey3 but that was it.

I'll try all that monitor jazz tomorrow.

As for my wild antics:

"It all started the other night when I got banned, Thursday If I remember correctly, I was like fuck, so I sent my cousin a message on MySpace to post on here.
Having got that out the Way, the adventure began the next morning. After getting myself out of bed (Gmoob?) I had my friend pick me up. Being a nice day, We knew we had to Ghost Ride the whip (Shout-out to my Hyphy mayn Zew) So we officially introduced the Mid-west to Ghost Ridin' We even Ghost-parked the whip at the Corner store.

EDIT: brb to finish.
holy shit, I'm watching the butters episode of south park right now and I completely forgot how fucked up this episode is.
which one?

So...did you get out of Joliet?!!?
which one?
The one where it's butters episode and he gets his own theme song and every 2 minutes or so a screen comes up that says "BUTTERS" and they sing a jingle "everyone knows it's butters"

It's about how his dad is a closet gay and then his mom goes nuts and tries to kill butters, it's really weird.

I think I have seen a good 95% of the south park episodes, that must be one of the 5% I have never seen before.
Butters' South Park episodes are some of the best.
agreed, I like the one where paris hilton tries to buy butters as a pet, and the one when they fake his death and disguise him as "Margerine"

The best ones are The Butters Show and the Aides episodes.

I love Butters dressed as a teddy bear and how when he pees in the urinal, he lifts up his shirt to his chin. I know it's weird that I find that hilarious, but...

Same here. There's episodes they rarely show, and that's one of them. I have definitely seen part of it though.

It took me forever to see Scott Tenorman Must Die. When I finally did though, I thought it was hilarious.

Even worse was the kid who dropped his pants to his ankles when he took a piss.

They show the Scott Tenorman episode a lot. Episodes they rarely show are ones like Pip.

I don't think they started showing it a lot until after the "best episode" countdown or whatever. I recall catching the end a few times, but never the entire episode. And never nearly as much as many other episodes. I've actually seen the episode where they introduce Pip several times in a relatively short period.

That is a different episode. The episode titled Pip is basically South Park's interpretation of Great Expectations. Another episode they rarely show is the Terrence and Philip episode (the first one where they played it in between the 2 part Cartman's dad saga). Both of these episodes are not shown all that much because they were not well liked by the majority of fans.

Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, I don't think I've seen either of those episodes. I have the first three seasons on DVD, so I should probably watch that Terrence and Philip episode.

Edit: I just read this:
Beginning March 13, uncensored episodes of the new season also will be available at Xbox Live.

fuck, I just noticed it says "new season." Damn.

i wish;) i was gonna go to bestbuy, home depot, lowes, and eckerd. the first three are because we frequent those stores as is, and eckerd cuz it's half a mile down the street and i wouldn't have to drive unless the weather is bad.

I really like the T&P episode. But I do know I'm in the majority.

There's just something about how stupid the dialogue is in that episode that cracks me up.

Terrance: You are such a dick, Scott.
Scott: You're a dick!
Terrance: You're a dick!
Scott: You're a dick!
Terrance: You're a dick!
Scott: You're a dick!
Terrance: You're a dick!
Scott: [pause] You're a dick!
Terrance: You're a dick!

I like Christmas in Canada.

No you are not. There was a huge outcry because they showed the episode on April Fools and people got into a tizzy because they wanted to know who Cartman's dad was. This is discussed on the commentary track for that episode.

I said "majority" up there but I meant minority.

I blame being on a cocktail of medications.

Edit: I started writing this before Casey's post, but it was meant to address that word.

I'm not sure about the others. Good luck.
que es eckerd?
large national pharmacy chain associated with JCPenny. Competition to Walgreens, CVS, RiteAid.

There's a Walgreens across the street from a CVS here.

Both are across the street from a Starbucks.

I have found time stops in that sordid little triangle too.

I hate writing short essays where you have to answer like 10 questions. It is ridiculous the amount of depth I am supposed to go into in like 3 pages.

edit: spelling. My shit has been off all day. Migraine ruined the day for me and I am still not over it. Hopefully I can finish what I need to in the morning as I am almost done with the paper I am writing. Need to get a hair cut tomorrow and play a shit load of Gears before 24. Should be fairly close to getting the hammer achievement so hopefully I have it by the end of the week (playing primarily execution means getting the pistol and sniper is going to take a while, but I am getting pretty good at taking peoples heads off. Last few nights I have been averaging 3-4 with the pistol and around 2 with the snipe).
I think CVS bought out Eckerd, at least the ones around here.
the whole chain itself wasn't bought out, but it's very possible the individual stores were.

ah good times on gears. I stopped playing though about a month ago when I got NBA street and crackdown and now baseball. I want to start playing it online again, but fear of all the glitchers is scaring me away. Might just wait for the next update to hop back into it.
