LOOK AT ALL THE NEW SPACE FOR ANIME.....*drool*
I can see no difference. It's like adding a few grains of salt to a mountain LOL!
I was going to say the same damn thing, just with drops in a bucket. Squarehard could add a whole new wall of shelves full of anime and I wouldn't even notice.
I was going to say the same damn thing, just with drops in a bucket. Squarehard could add a whole new wall of shelves full of anime and I wouldn't even notice.
And so began a new saying... "it's like adding another item to Squarehard's collection."

not quite as amazing as Wiggys Documentary that was posted sometime ago. i wish i had it to post again and laugh at lol
I'm both incredibly impressed, and incredibly shocked at the size of Squarehard's collection. Seriously, I had to triple take that DS wall! Holy calzone!
I still plan on overpower his collection! Last time I checked I was a bit over 300, I have kind of stopped buying DS games ever since the 3DS came out though, it will just have to take me a little longer.

I still want to build a fort with all his anime though!

Im impressed with squares collection. I just recently started collecting again, I sold my ps3 collection and now I regret it.

Oh well, I started a Xbox 360 collection and I plan on getting that a decent size before the PS4 and Durago or whatever microsoft decides to call it launches. One day Square... ONE DAY!

It's okay, I've been stuck at 544 for awhile now. :*(

lol... When you have so much it's like what else can you buy, that's the other part that stopped me. GS used to have a good selection before they dumped all their cases.
Squarehard collection is very impressive...I'm not anywhere close to his DS collection and I already have doubles. LOL
I know there are tons of great DS games, but I can't imagine that there are more than 200 DS games that are actually worth owning. I really wanna see close ups (or high res pictures) so I could see what types of games he has there.

So maybe he has like 150 copies of my little pony?

25 copies of Hannah Montana no doubt:lol:I'm more interested in how many he's actually played (not even beat, just put the cartridge in the system).

It's not about the quantity of cartridges you put in the system, it's the quality.
It's not about the quantity of cartridges you put in the system, it's the quality.
I know, I just bet that more than half of these are still sealed
It's not about the quantity of cartridges you put in the system, it's the quality.
It's also about how long each cartridge stays in the system. ;P
I know, I just bet that more than half of these are still sealed
Only about 10% are still sealed, but mostly because I haven't gotten around to them yet. I have indeed played all the others, but have not necessarily beaten every game. My general rule back then was play the game for a couple of hours and if I like it keep going, but if I didn't I'll just play until I give up. You have to realize that DS games aren't incredibly long either except for all the Atlus/Square/Nintendo typical titles and what not, so a lot of the shorter stuff I've finished.

Must be the best game in the universe. ;D

Exactly I don't buy from gamestop anymore because the games don't have the cases!

I haven't posted in a while but I just picked up a really awesome over the door shoe rack, one of those plastic ones with all the pockets at Lowe's for 9.98. I am going to stuff cables and things inside of it. Best of all the hooks are really thin so I can close a door even with the hooks over the door!

I wonder how some of you have so much time to play all of these games. I have quite a decent collection myself and basically no time to play it. What I'm really trying to say is I'm rather envious.

I'm pretty sure most of us don't have time to play all of these games either. At least I sure don't. The collection itself is a hobby. If I ever find time to try out a few games, then that's awesome too.
Monthly update!
Two important things. No.. three important things.
 1. I never realized the two sets make the face of Heat Guy J
 2. You may have more DS games than I do. I'll have to take an inventory and figure out how many games my brothers currently have on loan and try and get an accurate updated number.
 3. Super nice collection!

Next. For all those who thought I was out of my mind for thinking Camel's air freshener looked like a cat toy, behold.
I know there are tons of great DS games, but I can't imagine that there are more than 200 DS games that are actually worth owning.
Totally disagree.

Well I guess I will post a small update to my collection. I have gotten rid of the PS3 since the last post and picked up a WiiU in trade. Still have my Genesis and NES just sitting out in random places. Don't have and haven't found a good shelve to put next to my TV for my retro consoles so I have to pull them out as I want to play. I have picked up some Wii games since I got the WiiU and my NES and Genesis collections have both grow quite a bit. One thing I've learned is that I really need to dig around and find my digital camera. My cell phone camera takes such crummy shots.

Haha. I didn't really realize initially either when I first got the set because I used to have the DVD side sticking out, and then I turned them around and was like, "Oh neat" lol.

I'm definitely interested in seeing some pics of your DS collection now, Gwen.

Have you posted up your collection in its entirety as of late? I think that would be of interest to me as well. ^__^
Totally disagree.
Disagree with what? The fact that there are a lot of great DS games, or that I can't imagine something?

All jokes aside, I know it's subjective based on how many games you play and what you like, but still... I can't image saying to myself that there are 200 DS games that I absolutely must have. But I'm with Square, I wanna see your collection.

Very nice, neatly organized collection. That SNES peeking out from behind the couch is really cute.

Nice:applause:But that one Gamecube game without the artwork is an eyesore lol what is it? Have you checked thecoverproject.net?

It's Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy i think. Just haven't gotten around to printing a cover off for it.

I need to post some pictures in here someday. My collections nothing too big, but it gets the job done. I counted yesterday and I'm at 360 titles roughly, I believe. Nothing like these 1000+ collections.
Do or do not. There is no "need to."
Yeah, seriously. I'd love to see some other collections here...

I'm only at about 150 not counting digital. Pretty small, but it's my own fault for trading so many in. On an unrelated note, what's your guy's opinions on consoles like the RetroN3 and other hybrid consoles? I'd like to get into collecting NES/SNES/Genesis games, and this seems a lot cheaper than buying all three consoles. And there is a HDMI/Gameboy Advance model coming out soon:bouncy:Just wondered if anyone had experience with them

Treat those CE's better you squarehole! ;)

The Retron 4 sounds pretty nice due to HDMI capabilities but being able to play NES/SNES/GBA (and I'm assuming GB/GBC) from one console would be nice. It's more of a convenience. If you want the genuine experience, you should buy the originals.

Yeah, but considering NESs and SNESs go for $40-$60, it's a rather big investment. Personally I'd rather spend that on games. Any suggestions on cheap games to start me off?

I don't know if I ever posted pictures of my collection of anything, now that I think of it. I'm fairly sure that there aren't any pictures of my crap on my photobucket account. Part of the problem is a) the racks i have my games on were SUPER cheapies from ikea years ago and they are VERY unattractive. b) my brother and I are slobs and half of our stuff is always in a state of chaos as we're always 'working on' this room or that room. The idea is to move our games into the entertainment room, but gad the entertainment room... is a disaster.

(I love my bro, but he's lousy at keeping the house neat and clean.)

All that said, I will make a sincere effort to at least collect my ds games together for a snapshot.

Ha! The irony is that I started collecting DS games because I liked the size of the cases and because I always have at least one of my DS's with me in my purse. And now, with all the DS games I own, I've kind of lost interest in most of them. Been waiting for years for the new Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion. But when I get home from work, when I go to play something, i want action. I want... to shoot bad guys in the face. On a big screen. So sadly, a TINY percentage of my DS games are played. While, if I spend money on a console game - it WILL be played.

I would go to Racketboy.com and check around there. You can find tons of lists (most valuable games, cheap gems, etc.) for many consoles up to the PS2/GC/XB era. Some of his articles are outdated but for the most part, it's an awesome site.

Hmm. Thanks for reminding me of that site Vinny. I remember I visited that site a while ago. But some of the stuff needs to be updated.
