You wont say the same thing after a few months of filling them up. I have yet to see those sauder shelves made of particle board not warp after so long.

That has been my experience with them. I usually stick with Atlantic. They cost more, but I find the quality is better.

Those are pretty nice. I have been wanting a lit GBA for sometime. Thought about getting one of those Afterburner kits and modding my spare GBA. Never done soldering.

Love the custom GB micro faceplates. There's just not enough love for the Gameboy micro, especially on the faceplate scene.

Basically ran out if room on the shelves the other day. Finished casing up all of my SNES games, and that pretty much did it. So, as I often do, I made more shelves to tuck into a nook or cranny in order to make room for more crap that I don't need

This is like a window in my basement which looks from the finished side into the unfinished side. I have no idea why on earth anyone would want something like this.

Added the ol' rails for modularity and cut some quicky shelves.

I'll eventually put a piece of plywood behind the shelves to replace the window, but this works for now.

Now I has room!!!

The one I have is the former Atlantic Oskar 1080 shelf. They have the new ones now, but they are unfortunately not built as well anymore, and the wood quality has been slight thinned out, and shortened a bit to keep cost down. The current ones are still viable, but certainly not as great in quality as the older ones were.

You can find them basically at any retailer, so they're not hard to find, but if you're looking for the older models, they may be a bit harder to find as they've been discontinued for awhile, so you'll have to find a reseller that has these in stock.

Okay thanks for telling me need one for gba/ds/3ds games. Hopefully I can find one or a few, another question do that work well for any other type of case?

If you re-adjust the shelves you can have eight rows total for DVD sized cases, so you can figure it out from there. ^__^

Unless your IKEA is far away from your house, at least you can get the replacement parts easy enough from their store. I've only had to use that service once so far thankfully.

Yea, i was able to go get them easily from the store. I also got two more smaller versions of the Expedit, since apparently the line is discontinued now and whatever stock is there is it.

That's the Atlantic Oskar 1080 shelf, but the previous generation one. The newer ones are not as well made which is discussed in some previous posts above as to the reasons.

The DS collection are all things I have played, so it's not just all DS games, but I do have shovelware in there, but doesn't mean they haven't been played at least once. But yeah, if I were to collect all DS games there would just be way too much shovelware to even hold on the shelf alone, so basically just things I can see myself playing for the most part. That's kind of how I am in general with my games, and anime. Things I will either play or watch at some point, and not just because, unless I've already seen it and I want to own the set for sentimental reasons.

I get lots of cart only but I shop around ebay, BRE software and stuff like that, or just buy some in lots from CAG.

I want to have a collection like that someday. Most are what I wanna play or games Id like to have.

Thanks for posting this because it made me learn that the Expedit line is dead. One of the shelves has been on my wishlist for years and this prompted me to finally get it. It was the last one in the store too.

They're not dead. They redesigned them slightly, and renamed them.

Probably not. All the good quality (non-Sauder) stuff I buy are usually randomly clearanced, such as from Target. The new Atlantic Oscars are crap, and even the older ones were not really "good" quality. They're just above average in respect to other particle board shelves.

I really like the two I got from Target though, which were actually at least partially solid wood. Rated to easily hold game guides without warping, and looks nice to boot.
