Just finished this up the other day and it was awesome. If you're a fan of the series or comic you should definitely give this a go. Can't wait until the next episode is released.

Just in case anybody was wondering, it looks like this will be taking a different release route than the other Telltale series on PSN. The first episode that I downloaded is labeled as just "The Walking Dead" and has menu options to start up the other episodes within that game, so it seems like the others will be DLC that adds to that initial file. This is just what I got with my season sub, so I don't know if the single episodes will be separate like the other Telltale series or not.

Also, it has a platinum that will be obtainable by the time you finish the last episode, which should be easy since the trophies only require you to beat each chapter and the episode.

well we have that model in BlueToad Mystery files

demo is kind of interesting. I migh tpick up the pass in a few weeks.

the way the trophies are laid out are exactly how it should be with this type of game. play the game how you want with whatever decisions you want and still be rewarded with the plat upon completion. i hated heavy rains trophy list because of that being the exact opposite.

when is Episode 2 coming out

they should of had it where if you bought the sub u get Episodes 1- 4 Now but if u only bought the Episode 1 u will have to wait to buy Episode 2 - 4

well it was my understanding that the major premise behind Episodic game development was that you actually develop the second game after the first... hence while it's likely plotted out. I have to expect that Episode 4 isn't actually completed yet.

They had to structure the game like this to get around MS "no episodic" psuedo-policy so the game could be sold on XBLA.

Just purchased the season pass. 5 episodes for $20? I'm down with that. I played about 30-45 minutes so far, really enjoying the art style. The QTEs are simple yet require you pay attention and do what is requested. I like it. It's very much in the vein of a guided pick-your-adventure book.

I just read on gamefaqs that the game is essentially broken. What a joke. I was looking forward to downloading it when I got home from work. Telltale should be fucking embarrassed.

Episode 2 was even better than the first IMO. I like how there is no right or wrong answer, and you piss someone off no matter what you do (just like real life).

Not sure if it's my PS3 or the game, but episode 2 seemed to hang quite a bit between when transitioning from cut scene to game play and vice versa.

The XBLA version does the same thing, so that seems to be the game.

I finished my second playthrough last night and it was worth the wait.

You could totally see that the st johns were cannibals pretty early on so it wasn't a huge shock to me when you find mark up in that hidden room.

Killing Larry was awesome. I hated that guy. Although, I do feel bad for Lilly since I do like her.

I have two playthroughs one where I kill everyone possible and side with Kenny, and one where I have morals and side with Lilly. Its cool to see how different things turn out in each playthrough.

I had some hiccups as well.

Thank you for posting this. I was not aware episode 2 was out, going to go download it tonight.
Well it's broken. It keeps booting you out to the XMB every time you try and play episode 2.

Boo-urns.
( Raises hand)

"I was saying Boo-Urns"

I made a choice that showed up as only 14% of other people made at the end. Found that rather curious as in Episode 1 I tended to pick what was popular.

Exact opposite for me, in was in the minority for all but 1 choice in episode 1, and was in the majority for all but 1 choice in episode 2.

Just finished it and loved every minute it. My stats, for anyone that's wondering:
te3w3.jpg

I actually didn't mean to let the teacher die. I was in the process of chopping his leg off when we had to leave. As far as everything else goes, I try to not kill anyone unless I absolutely have to and especially not if Clementine will witness it.

I am surprised at how much fun this game is after the disapointment that was back to the future. I don't even like the tv show at all but this game is freaking awesome.

Ya, I heard about PS+ giving episodes 1 & 2 in the next update, 8/7/12. I was waiting for the entire series to be bundled & put on sale. In a way I'm happy, since I have a PS+ subscription, but now I'm wondering if this will cause a problem down the line. Currently anything added to our download lists via PS+ can't be purchased while the subscription is active >.

This game wasn't really on my radar but I ended up playing through the first two episodes I downloaded with PS+. Wow. Definitely recommended. I'm sure the final 3 episodes will be free PS+ perks at some point...but I wonder when? I may just have to pay the $15...

How long is each episode? I started EP.1 last night, and Im just curious of the length. Is it like an hour like the TV show or something longer?
