Gears 4 Collectors Edition - $199.99 with Amazon Prime.

Microsoft way over prices their ces.

I'm not sure how popular gears is compared to years ago so these could easily end up cheap like halo 5

I heard Best Buy is copying Amazon's Prime 20% off discount on game pre-orders, though I'm not sure what they'd call it. Maybe Gamer's Discount Club?

That only matters if Best Buy carries it, but they have the other two versions up so maybe they will.

Gears of War is a great series, better then cod and halo. Alot of people just dislike it because they get completely demolished when it comes to MP due to it requireing much more on the fly thinking then a typical COD game. I do agree that its overpriced like the halo CE but the quailty of gears CE are usaully better then halo's.

lol, crazy Microsoft.  Anything smaller than Titanfall is not even worth the price.  Not to mention it's almost the cost of XBox One.

A little overoptimistic huh? A new developer at the helm of the series and they think they can whore out some extra cash by offering a $250 collectors edition just because it's a familiar name. Just look at Halo 5. Arguably a bigger name than Gears and no one wanted that overpriced mess. The frag grenade keychain is the only thing I want out of this CE

CoD, yes. Halo, no. Especially if we're talking about Halo CE, 2 or 3. Now Halo 5? Yeah, maybe. But that's really not saying much.

Gears of War still has the more dynamic gameplay over any of the Halo games. The FPS genre has done little to innovate on the movement half of their genre in decades. At least in Gears you can actually physically interact with the bulk of your environment instead of running head first into a wall and slowly dragging your face across it until you find a safe vantage point.
When FPSs start integrating the level of control you have over your character in games like Mirror's Edge, I'll give them some credit. Until then, the genre will remain the most stagnant. I doubt that'll ever happen, though. People like simplicity.

Damn, Triforce is doing this and they chose to do a statue instead of a replica weapon. Such a shame! I really wish these game companies would change thier mindset on these special editions or at least start offering 2 different versions, one with a statue and one with a replica weapon. Oh well, at least its nice to see Trifroce getting more special edition business. Hopefully that will mean more premium collectibles from them down the line. 

 
Gears of War is my favorite new series of last gen and generally would get something like that from the previous games...but not at that price lol.  I'll wait.  

 
really want that edition, but I will wait. I could buy street fighter 5 collectors for half of the price jut fewfew weeks after release.

Can anyone tell me how amazon prime works?   Could I get the 30 day trial and get the discount now on this pre order and the price will stay at 199 even after my trial is over?

There are still Titanfall CEs available on Amazon. What ever happened to Best Buy's stock? I remember them being clearanced but not by much and now they're gone.

Bestbuy stock sold out quickly after they put it on clearance. This was like last year.
 
You can also save 20% off of the Uncharted CE. And the new Deus Ex. And Doom. And Worms: WMD. 

Y'know, there's a long list, maybe I'll just PM it to the OP & he can add it to the post & thread title. 

 
At first I thought this was the Gears Xbone bundle. Micro$hit is really starting to stink now. First Titanfall, now Gears? So glad I will never buy an Xbone. Please get out of the gaming market ASAP, M$.

I have a wii u, PS4 and a Xbox One and the only system I ever seem to enjoy is my xbox one. PS4 just sits and collects dust until last guardian and uncharted comes out. Just like my ps3 was its a once or twice a year exclusive box.

I always see people say stuff like that like the ps4 has no games or something. To you just like the controller more? Have more friends on the Xbox? Enjoy the interface more?
