Made it to 841 tonight. Some of these were really hard lol. Also highest diffculty on Gears 5 is Inconceivable not Insane! That was just blatantly wrong lol.

I thought the code was for PS4 and PS5.  My guess is you'll be seeing a fair amount of them hit the market within the next few weeks around $40-50.  Sony oddly went heavy on digital with this release - system bundles, the Jotnar edition, etc. were all digital codes instead of physical.

That's probably because they offer a PS5 with no disc drive.

That actually stings right now considering this year after Elden Ring was pretty much canceled for me. Looking back, I'd say 75% of my gaming has been spent on habit games like WoW and Valheim. Game Pass has been great, but very rarely do games click with me long enough to get a few weeks out of them before moving on. Current gen stalled HARD, and people are finally starting to question if all the hassle of delays and stress from finding a console was worth launching so prematurely.

 

Really sucks because I think this is the first year I won't be playing anything current gen over the holidays. I've had my eye on firing up New Vegas because when it originally came out, I was too burned out on Fallout 3 to appreciate it. The irony is if I do: it'll probably burn me out for Starfield.

I had 2 separate sellers on Gameflip message me that they can't buy gift codes as of today after canceling my orders.  They're not sure if it's temporary or not but I would lean towards not considering the press from devs/publishers over the past months concerning regional pricing.

Could be those sellers are blocked due to their reselling of codes. Can't be that hard to count how many codes one buys and limit that.

Let's Argentina still buy but prevents resellers.

ah I understand now. I use Eneba which seems to be "stock on hand" vs Game Flip having people fulfill your requests

Speaking of Eneba, I bought a $100 Xbox card for $80 after coupon from them this week and the seller sent me an already redeemed code.  Eneba is being a pain in the ass about it, requiring me to get screenshots of Microsoft support telling me exactly when the code was redeemed.  I chatted with Xbox support twice, and they both confirmed that the code was redeemed by a different account but their system doesn't show the date/time.  I sent the requested screenshots of the support chat, the e-mails confirming that I didn't redeem the code, and my Microsoft account history.  Silence since then.  I'll be disputing it with my CC if they don't refund me eventually, but it's the last time I buy something from that site.

Glad I went nuts the past few months as would wait for weekly sales to go up on Monday nights and by Tuesday the cheaper prices for the games on sale were reflecting even cheaper on Gameflip. Also was checking weekly releases if a great price at launch. I was hoping for a big Black Friday week but that now looks to be no more. Now to keep saving those bing points for regular Xbox digital sales. Had been saving those points for Amazon gift cards but now back to game funds.

 

Edit: One of the main two sellers I grab codes from has pulled all Xbox games off Gameflip, the other one may have not got a chance to do yet as I am seeing others sellers that pulled Xbox games as well.

Jesus Christ I hope this Argentina code blockage is temporary. I've noticed OG Xbox games like Splinter Cell aren't allowing gift codes to be sent in the US region. Dunno if it's related, I just want my cheapo releases.

Seems like it's game dependent. Otogi still works for gifting but most other OG Xbox games don't.

I was just chatting with a seller and he does not think it is a glitch. This is what he wrote;

 

‘yeah as this is not the fist time which is why i do think it's not a glitch, as 2 years ago they took off the Argentina gifting from the store cards as they went crazy and 1 year ago on the Turky gift cards as well, then 50 days ago they stopped the gifting option in Turkey for gamepass ultimate, and now today with Turkey / Argentina for gifting yet all the other regions are working”

Very true and hope it stays that way as they stop at with cutting off the source and leave it at that.

 

I got spoiled and liberal with grabbing games at the cheap prices and will just go back to being strict with game selection with bing points only. Backlog grew to insane level with all the new stuff added.

 

I still can use Gameflip for cheaper Eshop credit unless that is next on chopping block. Prices slowly increased from one great seller for those but still worth it.

There's no limit to the amount of codes you can enter, but 36 months is the max amount of Gold/Game Pass you can have on one account.

Just finished A Plague Tale Requiem. And wow I really loved it. The gameplay, the story and the graphics were all top notch! And kind of unbelievable that I got to play it through GPU funded by MS Rewards.

Now time to fire up my PS5 for God of War Ragnarok. Been months since I turned it on!

Yes, you missed the boat quite awhile ago when Microsoft tried to increase the price of Xbox Live Gold (which they backtracked) and removed the 12 month option. There's no way to get Gold for "cheap" if you only want to spend your Microsoft bucks.
