I posted here recently that I went back and played FH1 because of the FH5 10th Anniversary update and couldn't believe how much better and harder FH1 was over the new games, seems so dumbed down now.  I just finished the single player without spending 1 credit or buying one upgrade or car, earned them all then beat Darius in final race, forgot how long and tough that final race was, but fun and challenging.  I looked forward to playing FH1 rather than FH5, still plan on going back and finished the street races and a few other things but now wish the newer games were more like FH1.

28% audience score, the one that matters most. Even the positive reviews beg others to embrace the new and see past expectations. Sorry, even with that spin they did an awful job from horrible dialogue to a grating cast. Oh and the plot immediately shits on the original movie and how everything that was sacrificed and bled for was in the end a waste. Everyone in charge of this show should be fed to the death dogs.

So I just level capped a Zealot in WH40K Darktide and unlike Killing Floor, there doesn't seem to be achievements tied to difficulty like beating a level on rank 5. Scrolling through the list nothing sounds like much fun to chase so I'm wondering what else there is to do in the game other than grind for gear? The game definitely appeals to me but I like having some sort of goal in mind to pursue rather than just beating higher levels for no real reward. Never played Vermintide so I'm wondering what will be added to support the game in the long term.

 

Glad this was put on Game Pass because I love these type of games and had no idea another developer made them other than Tripwire.

I wanna buy Stray on Steam but they are resisting that $20 price point / only doing $23.99. Then again it will may end up on Game Pass after some timed exclusivity.

Andor early episode review vs final reviews changed a LOT. It's possible. Think how impossible it felt then. Like Nintendo titles going on sale. Like MS acutally putting out a game that merits $70. 

 

I can't think of anything not Forza or Gears related that could deserve looking at the big tag. Halo was not that game. It was supposed to be that game, but it would have Cyberpunked the whole generation and left a lot of bad taste. And I'm still playing Infinte, I'm about to finish the S2 battle pass.

New 150 point punch card is up for Season of Xbox.  Earn an achievement in a game with a new content from the list.  Need to activate the punch card and view the game list.  Includes FIFA, Madden, Apex, Overwatch 2, Multiversus, Avengers, Destiny 2, Dreamlight Valley, Fall Guys, Fortnite, Rocket League.  No overlap with the monthly 500 point featured games punch card.

So far a lot of the stuff isn’t tracking. AMEM, playing Disney Dreamlight and cheevo for weekly set. I did get the punchcard for Seasons of Xbox and the Flamingo bundle card to work no problem.

It took a month to have 2 left.  One takes another 180 days and the other is waiting on 21 more characters with houses to be added to the game.  Mining is really easy as they added a mine that gets progress on every node now.

State of Decay 2 is actually fun and easy to pop cheevos in. 

The joy of riding in a car with your homies and seeing a heard of zombies and telling everyone "Battle formations!" and everyone opens their respective car doors and splatter the zombies.

Every time I try to get back into Destiny I bounce off hard. I finished the "legendary" Witch Queen campaign and that was OK aside from being too easy for the Legendary title, but the core loop just doesn't change enough. Grind bounties and playlists. It seems like they gave up on PVP.

I'm really interested in the story, now they're finally bringing in Xivu Arath and doing the Exo Rasputin stuff that was cut with the original Joseph Staten story? But the overall game has pretty much stopped evolving.
