Thank you for the thorough answer. I wound up opening solitaire and letting it run. It took waaaaay longer for the quest to pop than I was giving it.

 

 

Not actually true I don't think. I've gotten the quest multiple times with Marvel Puzzle Quest on Steam. Live might make it pop sooner but it isn't required.

Just for reference, I started Battlefield 2042 on EA desktop via Game Pass at 12:01 AM PST and stopped at 12:08 AM. I started Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam right after and stopped at 12:15 AM. It's been 20 minutes and nothing has popped up.

 

When I played Nobody Saves the World yesterday for about a minute to pop an achievement, the quest completed about 8 minutes after I popped the achievement. So let's say it should take about 9-10 minutes to show up after you start a game.

 

EDIT: Still nothing as of 1:01 AM. SAD!

 

EDIT 2: Started up Windjammers 2 for the first time at 1:21 AM, got to the menu and then quit. Quest popped at 1:27 AM, 6 minutes after.

So, did it again. Purchased an extra copy of Gunvolt Chronicles Luminous Avenger iX (Arg). If anyone is interested like the post and I'll random it on Saturday.

Also grabbed RPG Time and Kaiju Wars based on a PC Gamer articles about hidden gems in the Steam sale. They looked pretty neat, maybe one day I'll even play them.

Compared to the sequel, where the hardest difficulty has literally no save points. I love a challenge and I am a bit of a masochist, but that is fucking ridiculous.

 

Yeah, I did beat DS2 on Zealot, but the no-death run was a big nope. Especially with the amount of environmental one-hit kills in that game.

No 4k for Children of Men yet, but Alfonso Cuaron (director) had some amazing one shot sequences in that movie.  Children of Men is close to a top 10 movie for me.  Highly recommend for anyone that hasn't seen it

These were games that had been on my external X1 that had don’t play as often or I’ll come back to later.

Doesn't the console install the optimized for Series games onto the internal/expansion drive if the game is on a USB drive?  I would think the only way to stop it is to keep cancelling the download.  Also, why not go ahead and update Gears Tactics?

I guess you could turn off auto updates in the settings. Of course you will have to deal with updates when you want to play a game.

Won a 100€ Xbox Giftcard recently and instead of buying more Games and add them to my backlog I spent it on Xbox 360 DLC tha I was holding of on buying for years...and since most 360 DLCs don't get discounts anymore it's even worse. However I was finally able to pick up the Dante's Inferno DLC, Enslaved Pigsy's Perfect 10, Worms Armageddon 2, Hydro Thunder, Band of Bugs and a lot of others..so I'm quite happy with that.

My read looks like the X1X version stays un-upgraded but the system will download an upgrade to the internal storage or expansion card if there's room. THAT bit I didn't realize and now I'm half glad I haven't plugged my external HDD back in yet after moving lol

I just finally got them to send my phone a text. The $25 went through easily to a new Dell account that was created. No email confirmation, it was just there. It just cancels my Xbox gift card every time I place an order. I guess I will deal with that tomorrow.
