I didn't think it was a first party game
We Happy Few is a first party game because Microsoft bought Compulsion and Compulsion are the ones who made the game. MS even own the IP but apparently Gearbox still own the publishing rights. You can buy the game very cheap nowadays or wait and see if it comes back onto the service. The game has already left and then later came back to game pass in the past despite being on the service for over four years..

...there is now an auto redeem for one month of game pass ultimate for 10,000 points. That is actually a pretty great value compared to the discount on gift cards. You can also redeem three months for 35K points...
FYI it comes through as a code. So you could use this with the wife's account and add the month to your gamepass.

What do you mean? When I start auto redeem, it doesn’t just add a month to my account? It sends me a code every month?

I'm pretty sure all rewards balances are straight to account (like $5/10/20) and gold/gp/gpu are all codes. Auto redeem works the same way.

How often does Alan wake remastered go on sale? Should I wait and buy the original and pick up the DLC for cheap now, or should I just wait for a sale on the remaster?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
you can see it's price history here https://xbdeals.net/...wake-remastered
Looks like it was on sale last month for $14.99. If you're willing to "visit" Argentina, can be had for around $9 on Eneba

It looks like the remaster goes on sale every 2-3 months, getting cheaper with each sale. It's hard to say how low it will go or how frequently it will go on sale since Epic Games is the publisher.

Having played both versions within the last couple of years, I will say if you have a current gen console that the Remaster is a much better experience. It runs much smoother, loads quicker, and looks better. I'd recommend that one

Microsoft ended support for Windows 8 back on Tuesday.
https://www.trueachi...-support-ending
If you purchased things on Windows 8, according to a comment in the thread, you should be able to redownload it through your payment history within Windows 8 for another 6 months. It also says you should be able to download them on newer systems, though it's not straightforward.
Potentially relevant here because MS put a number of Windows games with cheezmints on sale for 10 cents during Black Friday 2015.
https://www.trueachi...ay-10-cent-sale
Looks like I bought all of them. My old Win8 laptop doesn't boot anymore (haven't figured out the problem) and I have most installed on my old Win10 laptop. On my current Win10 laptop, only Halo: Spartan Assault, Halo: Spartan Strike and Hydro Thunder Hurricane show up in my library in the Xbox app. I was able to install most of the others by opening the store links in the TA article. Chrome thought the pages need to be translated, but Edge opened them without trouble. Most gave an Install / Play button, which redirected to the Microsoft Store app and let me download them. Disney Fairies Hidden Treasures was the only one that didn't have an install button. There's a topic in the game's TA forum to install it using an app package downloaded from the web. The DLCs should be available from within the game. Also note that Reckless Racing Ultimate has 9 unobtainable achievements, one in the base game and 8 from delisted DLCs.
My order history on the MS web site goes back to Nov 20, 2015, ending with some of the above games and 10 cent movie rentals from the same sale, but not everything is there. Not sure if reloading the page would allow it to go back farther or if there's just a limit in the store. Took a while for the page to load what it did. Load items, go to bottom of page, load more items ...
I also don't have purchase confirmation emails for any of the above games, either.
Edit: A reload of the web order history is going back farther now (but not all the way, stopping in august 2010). The other games from the sale are there, though Hitman GO was purchased a few months earlier at 99 cents. The games' store pages can also be opened from the order history, just takes so long to get there.

Fuzzmeister - how has your Witcher 3 experience been going with the new update?
Mostly great. A couple of game crashes to dashboard, but there are enough autosaves that it isn't an issue. It's crashed maybe 5 times so far. Just the Blood and Wine DLC to finish. I didn't notice ray tracing enough to deal with the sub 4k 60 fps, so played performance mode for most of it. I've enjoyed it as much as my first completion back when it launched.

For all my Stadia heads...er...Stad baddies or...whatever the we are, GOOD NEWS!
In all seriousness though it is a solid controller especially considering how nearly everyone got one for free. So it'll be nice as an xCloud controller.

I've gotten back into it too since the update. Had finished the main game but not the DLC a few years ago. I took me a few hours to get back into the systems of the game, but it's a lot of fun. I tried ray tracing but it was too smeary-looking while playing, performance is better. I did switch on ray tracing during some cut-scenes and it looked great there. Not worth the hassle of switching it on and off though.
Finished the Heart of Stone DLC, that was really good... now playing Blood and Wine. Holy crap, howlongtobeat says this is 25-40 more hours? That's a whole other game...
The quests and characters in the Witcher are still far more interesting that most RPGs I've played. No offense, Skyrim

This is great news! I still have two of these and was hoping there would be a future use for them. Gotta give Stadia credit for how well they are treating people who bought into their service. I think I have been refunded for about 90% of my purchases and will get a couple of games put onto Ubisoft Connect

While I enjoy playing Elder Scrolls games, it's story is really only better than the story in Fallout (except for New Vegas). The plots in those games feel more like ways to guide you through exploring the world and Witcher 3 does that better too. :p
Witcher 3 is one of the best RPG stories in recent years for sure followed by Lost Odyssey and Yakuza Like a Dragon! Tales of Arise is a recent honorable mention. I don't watch One Piece, but that new game looks like a fun RPG.

Holy shit that second TA link came in clutch! I remember buying Hitman GO but I was never able to find it in my library or order history for download. Looking it up also said not available so having that direct link was sweet. Thanks!

I only spent $0.99 in the Stadia Store (Borderlands 3), but when they refunded my $1.06 that balance expired like a week later. Hopefully people that got more refunded didn't run into that issue.

I wanted to like this game but knew it wasn't for me. I almost bought it several times. I played about an hour and deleted it. Frustrating platforming is just not for me. I couldn't figure out where it expected me to go and decided if I can't even make it past the opening without looking it up its just not for me. It kept telling me to pull the left stick but that didn't seem to be the answer. Also I want to play as a character I have heard of not some made up Jedi. I played Battlefront on PS4 with a friend for a bit but never got into it either.
Other then one of the lego Star Wars games I haven't really liked Star Wars games.
Fallen order is free over on PS+ if anyone has that and wants to give it a try for themselves.
