you can see it's price history here https://xbdeals.net/...wake-remastered
Looks like it was on sale last month for $14.99. If you're willing to "visit" Argentina, can be had for around $9 on Eneba

Microsoft ended support for Windows 8 back on Tuesday.

If you purchased things on Windows 8, according to a comment in the thread, you should be able to redownload it through your payment history within Windows 8 for another 6 months. It also says you should be able to download them on newer systems, though it's not straightforward.
Potentially relevant here because MS put a number of Windows games with cheezmints on sale for 10 cents during Black Friday 2015.

Looks like I bought all of them. My old Win8 laptop doesn't boot anymore (haven't figured out the problem) and I have most installed on my old Win10 laptop. On my current Win10 laptop, only Halo: Spartan Assault, Halo: Spartan Strike and Hydro Thunder Hurricane show up in my library in the Xbox app. I was able to install most of the others by opening the store links in the TA article. Chrome thought the pages need to be translated, but Edge opened them without trouble. Most gave an Install / Play button, which redirected to the Microsoft Store app and let me download them. Disney Fairies Hidden Treasures was the only one that didn't have an install button. There's a topic in the game's TA forum to install it using an app package downloaded from the web. The DLCs should be available from within the game. Also note that Reckless Racing Ultimate has 9 unobtainable achievements, one in the base game and 8 from delisted DLCs.
My order history on the MS web site goes back to Nov 20, 2015, ending with some of the above games and 10 cent movie rentals from the same sale, but not everything is there. Not sure if reloading the page would allow it to go back farther or if there's just a limit in the store. Took a while for the page to load what it did. Load items, go to bottom of page, load more items ...
I also don't have purchase confirmation emails for any of the above games, either.
Edit: A reload of the web order history is going back farther now (but not all the way, stopping in august 2010). The other games from the sale are there, though Hitman GO was purchased a few months earlier at 99 cents. The games' store pages can also be opened from the order history, just takes so long to get there.
