I had credit expiring at best buy so decided to get midnight suns last night since it was on sale. It said it would be delivered tomorrow but got a notice today that it was out for delivery through shipt and the person sent a few texts including any tips are appreciated with their cashapp/venmo. Is anyone familiar with this and is it standard that shipt deliveries aren't made apparent at order? Makes me even less likely to use best buy if I don't know if I'd be tipping on top of the purchase price until after I place the order.

I played telling lies partly with a guide and partly without. It was an interesting game but think I should've not looked at a guide at first as it slightly hindered the experience. I definitely wouldn't have been able to find all the keywords without it probably. A few other FMV games I want to play, hope some come to gamepass.

Interesting. I had no idea it was a thing with best buy and when I googled it briefly I mostly just saw people on reddit delivering with the app to not accept best buy deliveries. I just assumed it was a Door dash type thing but tipping was post purchase and best buy neglected to divulge it would be shipped that way.

Wish I had seen your post earlier. Made an $8 purchase on Xbox. Would have spent $10 if I had seen this. Wish the offer was longer then until Sunday.

Got some time with MH Rise on console, playing on default and I'm getting screen tearing. I never notice tearing and I have a VRR set. But there's definite desync lines occurring. 

 

I generally don't give a shit about Tomb Raider, I'm mildly curious with a new writer for the media version(Phoebe Waller Bridge of Fleabag fame) and wonder if the new games will be syncing at all. Possible.

It's awesome having a version of Goldeneye on Xbox as a free addition to an older game and included in GamePass. I enjoy the nostalgia trip and updated controls...it's good times at a great price tag!

Cashback posted for Dead Space. $4.41 for $62.99 via credit. Not bad. Don't mind the 90 day wait.

Also, Goldeneye is great. Yes the fps is not consistent, yes it could be more optimized, but I don't care. It's not broken.

I probably played more Goldeneye than anything else for about a year when it came out. Got 007 Agent on all levels. All the speed run times. Memorized every enemy like it was Contra.

I have Dead Space waiting for me and all I want to do is keep playing Goldeneye. Higher res, better texture filtering, etc. Put it on 1.2 Solitare, make sure the Y axis is inverted, and go kill some low poly bad guys.

Obviously I wish it was the 360 remake. But having this in a playable, stable state with achievements makes this 90s player happy.

Got my boys 17+23  to sit down and play Goldeneye split screen with me, and at first they were complaining about graphics controls etc, especially after I won first game, then they started winning a few, we ended up playing straight for 2 hours didn't even know, flew by played all levels different weapons, in the end they admitted it was fun, now trying to unlock more levels.  We found grenade launchers, golden gun or pistols were the most fun.  Mines were just stupid, everywhere you run you die, was funny though. Also stack and basement best maps for close range. Cave was too dark, couldn't see anything.

Ooooh, if you customize the controls on the Xbox version and change the DPad from nothing to move and strafe, you can strafe run like the original when using the DPad. Still can't peak, but it's an improvement.

I've only played the Dam level on agent (1:12). Still seeing what is different from the N64 as for speed and optimization (classic feel). There must be a way to peak, somewhere.

I think you have to beat the game once to unlock him. I remember using a cheat code to unlock everything back in the day. Very cool that kids still appreciate the jank we had to endure back then!

I never owned an N64 but played Goldeneye at my friend's house a lot growing up. I totally played through the first mission easily precision sniping enemies from long range. It felt amazing being able to control the gun so much more easily. I failed the mission because I forgot to address all the alarms but killed everyone. I guess modern gaming checklist laziness screwed me lol.

Okay then Swagbucks pays the quickest so far. It's in my signature in case anyone is interested. They pay in SB which is the same as pennies. So 1 SB equals 1 penny. The trivia show doesn't pay much as I usually average 20 cents or so depending on how people answer. I recently did it about 5 days ago and the mission completed a day or two ago, which was actually really odd because normally it takes longer than that. Sometimes I noticed that it doesn't pop after 7 days when I add friends/followers earlier in the month and have to do it again.
