I finished first my play through of Hi-Fi Rush yesterday on hard and the last bosses final phase was very annoying and frustrating. Really took the joy out of the game for me. I did really enjoy it to that point. I wonder how much easier he is to beat on different difficulty levels.

Not going to bother playing the game on very hard or rhythm master. I would like to go back and find out what it behind all those locked doors you can't access on your first play of the game and clean up some of the side stuff I didn't finish.

Overall a wonderful experience and a really fun time until the very end boss phase.

I caved and lowered the difficulty from Hard to Normal after the battle with the bird robot. I'm fine with the rhythm part of the game, but not good enough at the rest.

I Was finally able to find one of those damn elusive JUST FOR YOU deals on XBox, but this was from me browsing the store. So got Ghost Recon Wildlands Ultimate Edition  for 88% off  because yeah I can stomach that.

Xbox spokesperson told one of the websites the cheats don't work. Haven't tried it myself, but the cheats do use the C Buttons, which the Xbox has no direct analog to.

That's no good since I looked at the completion times and I definitely didn't unlock a lot of those legitimately 25 years ago when my skills were better than they are now. I definitely used gameshark codes to unlock the harder ones. I didn't realize the controls didn't have a replacement for the c buttons on xbox, which the switch must have added so players could get full nostalgia playing with the n64 controller.

They should be available all day tomorrow until really late into the night like 2-3am est but it's happened that a game left gamepass before it's scheduled date so always take with a grain of salt.

The Nintendo Switch Online implementation of the Virtual Console (to borrow the term from the previous generations) is still emulation, so it's mostly the original games with little change. The controls for the N64 in particular are terribly remapped to "work" on the Joy Cons and Pro Controller.

B and A are B and A still, left stick is the analog stick, directional pad is the same, and the right shoulder is R button, but the rest is trickier.

Y and X are two of the C Buttons (don't remember which), and the right stick is all four C Buttons. The left trigger is Z. You can hold the right trigger and then the ABXY face buttons are the C Buttons only while you're holding the trigger.

It's really stupid.

I have 3 ubisoft games under JUST FOR YOU. Forget if wildlands is one of them but division 2 and Riders Republic are the other two. Their games go on sale so often I own the gold edition of two of the games and the third, Riders Republic, I played a ton and traded in the disc but I am tempted to jump back in. At $18 for the ultimate edition it's not too bad.

It's also currently on Netflix. The overall majority consensus I've gathered from the movie though feels like I can pass on it.

Oh and Inkulinati is also up on GamePass. Even though it’s early access, it’s been getting good reviews from Eurogamer and others. Definitely looks interesting enough for me to check it out.

So it sounds like Certain Affinity's project might not be part of Infinite. I guess they could just keep them in the same launcher like MCC or CoD Warzone, but sounds like a strange choice for the game that was supposed to be a platform.

I wonder what evolving beyond just a BR means. Watch it shift to some kind of Destiny-like and be another disaster.
