RE:  Microsoft cashback, is it still possible to get credit for game purchases from xbox.com?  I don't see my cart contents transferring from xbox.com to microsoft.com.

 

EDIT - Never mind, I clicked on the cart button and the game was in the cart.

 

EDIT - And I wasn't paying attention and I used PayPal to buy the game instead of my Xbox credit.  And now that I see it could take up to 72 hours for a response, I'm probably not going to get the game this time around...

Which makes rushing to buy it even more pointless. This whole 360-onl y delisting is very strange and seems not worth the hubbub.

The soon-to-be de-listed 360 games are still up on the 360 Marketplace as of this morning.  I used my Paypal balance to purchase the rest of the Castle Crashers DLC since I already owned the 360 version and the free DLC.  And yes, I own the Xbox One version.

How did you accidentally buy it? You would have had to hit "Confirm Purchase". Anyway, you won't be able to get a refund if it already started downloading, which I think begins immediately on console. If you bought it on the webstore, then you may be granted a one-time exception if you haven't gotten a refund before.

I ended up getting L4D2 and the Cold Stream dlc(for the L4D1 campaign), jet set radio(loved this game as a kid), and the orange box. Not sure if I'll end up playing half life 2 anytime soon, but played half life 2 as a kid and want to play through the whole experience at some point. I also want to see if anyone is playing TF2. I've never played it and it'd be neat to try it out. I doubt anyone plays it on Xbox anymore though.

How did you accumulate those credits? I'm about to drop some bad news on you if it's a bunch of $5 and $10 credits 

 

Essentially, if you have more than 16 "gift cards" that make up your Microsoft balance, you are SOL.

 

If you tried to process the transaction again, it might accidentally charge your backup payment instead. Highly recommended to remove any other payment options from your account before you proceed. You don't want to get caught in a situation where you make a purchase with another payment method, refund it, and then when you try to make another purchase you can't because you're limited to 1 Xbox Series X per year. Ask me how I know

Going to my sister's this weekend for my one nephew's birthday, should be able to pop that reward there since he got a Series S for Christmas for Madden.  Going to take up some extra Xbox controllers and a drive with some games.  Hope for some 6 player Shredder's Revenge between me, my brother, brother-in-law, niece and nephews.

Nope. It said free. It was supposed to be Free for Playstation +. It said free on my screen. ! click buy. I haven't had my Playstation plugged in for about a year now. I just go to the website and add the free games to my collection.

Yeah, my Pro expires in April and won't be getting renewed.  The digital codes are the only thing I bought from them in the last year.

You can still use it in-store. It just doesn't work online anymore. So you buy the membership for $15, you get $10 back in points, and then you would only have to visit GS once to break even. Why would you turn down free money if you have a store near you?

I'm pretty sure Liberation is bundled in with the AC3 remaster so you access the game via menu in AC3.

Confirmed.  Once you get the game up and running, you'll have the option to swap between the two games at the main menu.
