Kentucky Route Zero is pretty overrated. Play another game like it instead such as Citizen Sleeper or Disco Elysium.
 
But Young Souls was pretty fun. It has an insanely high skill ceiling where you can basically go hitless if you're a god. The story is alright but the writing is very bleh, juvenile and annoying at times. The gameplay is worth it though.

I just started Young Souls today. The art is great and the combat is great. I have no idea if the story is any good because after 15 minutes, I started skipping all the dialogue because there’s so much of it.

The publisher also has it in 3 different bundles (2 of which I own).  I wonder if it can be pulled from the bundles, or if those will be delisted as well.  Maybe returning under a different marketplace ID with the remaining games.

I STILL can’t get past that damn first boss in Wo Long. I even had my 23-year-old son who has beaten every Souls game (several multiple times) and both Nioh games with relative ease give it a try. And he couldn’t do it either.

This is why there needs to be cheats in games.

It took me about 10 tries and with some luck I was able to beat him . The thing that helped me the most was slowing down and not hitting him more than 3-4 times then backing away for a second . It’s crazy how easy the game is after you get past him .

- first-person mode
- wall running
- Attack on Titan collaboration including the ODM movement gear and Thunder Spears
- several Force abilities, probably meaning a Jedi Mythic "weapon"

Plus all the usual stuff like a map overhaul and several new weapons. Leon and Claire from Resident Evil are coming as well.

First phase does more than enough to teach deflection. Should have left it at that. Second phase is just cruel. I believe that B+Y thing isn’t available to you until you’re about halfway through and I’m dead by then.

Played chapter two and three of Guardians of the Galaxy. Still lotta fun but man, audio glitches are rampant. None of the Telltale Walking Dead games back in the 360 days had as much cutoff dialogue when I played em. And GotG froze on me twice during cutscenes. Only set me back a few minutes but sheesh. Its obviously noticeable

At one third health, the boss automatically ends from what i've seen.

I enjoyed Outer Worlds and have been watching the dlc on my wishlist, I can keep waiting for this pack to hit 30. 

 

Excited about Strive hitting this week, we had known the date so I'm not sure why people were acting surprised recently.

Yea, I still play some Fortnite. Its really kind of enjoyable for just the quests and events. Tons of fun getting one shotted by a deku smash, ugh. But first person in build mode would seem weird, wonder if its just for zero build?

Don’t think anyone mentioned it here but there’s a punch card to get 2500 points for buying at least $40 worth of newer/upcoming games. Quite a lot of games included in the promotion. I was planning to get the RE4 Remake day one so that’ll qualify.

Sadly, I’m guessing the days of 6000 points for buying a new release are behind us.

If you are good with flying to Turkey or Argentina, you should be able to get Outer Worlds and its DLC on GameFlip for under $30. I can give you the name of a seller who sold the bundle privately to me for $27 if you want.

Finished The last achievement for the Dead Space remake. That is definitely the definitive version of that game, when it was announced I really didn't think that it needed to be remade because the original does still hold up well in my opinion. The remake is excellent though, and it doesn't feel like an old game with a new coat of paint, it feels plenty modern.

You've never played it before, don't let the price tag he grudge you because it's not a completely original game. For people that did play the heck out of the original, your mileage will vary. It's one of my favorite games in one of my favorite genres, so it didn't take much to talk me into it.

At least if you buy it through Microsoft.com, there is cashback available, combined with rewards gift cards, it's still a decent deal for digital at launch.
