Any Guilty Gear players? Is there a way to test the DLC characters in game, like training mode or something?

I want maybe 2 characters, but they're from different seasons and kind of expensive separately.

I paid for Bridget and she is perfect for button mashers.  I don't think there is a trial for the dlc characters though. They will show up in arcade mode and such as opponents.

Trial - Dirt - 1973 Alpine A110 1600S - Used 321 960 106.  AI wasn't tuned, neither was half my team.  Team finished 1/3/5/7/8/11 and 2-4, 6-8 to take both races.  I finished first and second.

Crop Circle Stadium Rally EventLab - S1 900 Hoonigan - 2 laps, little under 90 seconds per, no AI.  Provides the weekly challenge car.

 

River Rush EventLab - A800 Unlimited Offroad - 2 laps, about 3 minutes per, no AI.  Route splits often, so you don't necessarily have to follow the driving line to get to each checkpoint.

 

Stadium Jump Danger Sign - S2 998 Anything - 1,312.3 feet (3 stars is 900) - Hit 1,955.92 with the rally 2019 Rimac Concept Two (551 707 630).  Started at the bend downhill from where the road splits and the right takes you down to the ramp.  Hit the ramp at 230 mph.  Can be tough taking that split turn at speed.  Starting at the split and heading downhill should give enough speed to clear the target.

 

Rocky Hills Speed Zone - S2 998 Anything - 85 mph (3 stars is 70) - Hit 86.7 with the 1986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution (780 472 164).  Ran west to east, taking the inside on corners.  Took a few tries, not an easy zone.

 

Quebrada Trail Blazer - S2 998 Anything - 33 seconds (3 stars is 30) - New PB of 36.905 with the RS200.  Started from the dashed dirt intersection north of the gate.  Then I gave the rally Rimac a whirl - 38.873.

 

Rally To Rumble - Dirt - B700 Modern Rally - No problems with the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (127 056 759).

Used the 1999 Ford Racing Puma and ran the Cascadas Danger Sign near the Horizon Wilds Outpost.  Car was already upgraded to just C600, started from the Gran Pantano Sprint and only jumped 500-600 feet, but it triggered the chest.  No idea if it can be tuned enough to jump the mouth of the river past the Runway Danger Sign.

It actually wasn't 1080p on last gen Xbox, it was 1440x1080. So now you get the full fat 1080p for Series S

Cyberpunk is fine now, just not the 11 out of 10 it was hyped up to be. It's probably one of the better looking games on the system, but I would recommend staying in performance mode as the ray tracing doesn't do much while tanking the FPS.

As far as harnessing the power of next-gen to look great, I think Doom Eternal and Fortnite are both up high on the list. Meaning high detail in their respective art styles with great performance, and a lot of technical bells and whistles.

The recent Resident Evil games all look pretty good, and Ubisoft has updated most of their games to run 4K/60 or close to it. Hitman looks pretty good.

Apologies if already mentioned, but it looks like they adjusted the March monthly 2k points thing on the Rewards app on consoles. Probably due to issues with achievements registering that people have mentioned. It now only requires 2 weekly quest completions, instead of 3. Just Hoping they fix the cheevo thing in time to secure this weekly, but the 2k was a nice bump.

I hope so. I think it is more likely for it to be remastered instead like the rest of the AnvilNext games though those were 360/PS3 era games so remastering them made sense. 

 

I would love for them to remake Black Flag using the new tech and assets from Skull & Bones. I mean, if S&B bombs and they already blew millions of dollars making that game, they might as well find a way to reuse the tech. Sunk cost fallacy and all   If you consider that S&B began development as an expansion to Black Flag, things will come full circle with a remake. Black Flag is a fan favorite anyway (IMO) so I really hope it's a viable candidate for a remake.

Have a new "Just For You" deal in the store - the F1 22 Champions Content Bundle is free ($19.99 regular).  Says it's based on my recent activity, which might actually be true since I fired up a bunch of Forza games recently when some of the online functionality became active again.  Or it could just be random.  The discount shows to me online (Free with Ultimate), maybe others got it as well.

I was going to play Guardians of the Galaxy before it went but did not get a chance to. I loaded up Pokemon Violet to get those mystery codes in before they expired and I just continued playing lol.

Thanks, the EA Play Games had 3 achievements before, now it just says "Earn an Achievement." It's also only 100 points when it was 250 before.

Played one game of the Exoprimal beta. Not totally sold on it (well, ok, I am sold on it since it’ll be on GamePass). But it’s promising. Combat is kind of like a jazzed up version of EDF with dinos instead of giant ants. Needs some work with the sometimes confusing objective-based mode that’s in the beta.
