I didn’t know they were raising the price. That’s ridiculous. The new things they added don’t warrant the price increase. Just when you think they can’t shoot themselves in the foot anymore. As soon as she told me about the change of policy on what the $5 coupon could be used for, I knew I wasn’t going to renew at the end of the year.

I have to use all my points before my next renewal since they no longer carry over or they dont carry if you dont renew.

Marvel, like Star Wars, and games is Luke most things where it's better if you don't have it all. You don't have to consume them all. There's plenty of comics that come out but they don't expect anyone to read them all.

I've got another year of Pro and I can't remember the last one I actually used the cert. Stacked an extra year when it was essentially free.

I can free shipping on most clothing sites for $50 but GS can't ship me a little video game unless I spend $80+. GS sucks and I doubt they will be around much longer.

I agree. Gamestop has been irrelevant to me for many years now. I still make a stop to the store when I go to the mall. I never buy anything though since everything is overpriced. I would occasionally buy Nintendo gift cards with my $5 monthly coupon. 

 

Years ago I used to pick up used 360 games at GS because they had some hard to find games in really good condition for a reasonable price.  I also got a free used Xbox 360 there during one of their promos. That was a great deal.

Completed the weekly set and after finishing, it accurately reflects the weekly streak (114). if MS doesn't have some type of bonus for 117 weeks, that'll be real disappointing.

That is indeed stupid over someone disliking it as a GWG title. Not supporting inverted look, though, is a sin against God, Buddha, the 12 Lords of Kobol, the Sisko, and worthy of condemnation.

So I've done all strongholds and I think I'm on the last story mission and I'm still only level 47 in Diablo 4. This is a hell of a grind to reach 50.

I'm at 47 also but still in act 2 region. I've done the strongholds as I find them but have only done a few of the Aspect dungeons. Are you skipping the side missions?

I don't think it should get review bombed obviously but it is pretty stupid to not include something as simple as inverted controls in a modern game, especially considering it's running on UE4 which surely has an easy way to implement it. The game is extremely short and normally is $18.

This was GwG back in Oct 2019 so most of us should hopefully have it. The delisting shouldn't affect our GwG license.

 

It's still $14.99 and the six DLCs haven't been discounted yet.

I kind of see this as two separate issues. I'm honestly surprised that a developer can't flag and request removal for reviews that are irrelevant, like many of those are. The reviews are absolutely not a place to complain about games with Gold. However, it seems like this developer was not expecting the influx of people playing his game when it hit Games with Gold. A broad range of subscribers get two free games a month to try. It's not inconceivable that a lot of those people simply will not like your niche visual novel game. I don't think that makes the reviews invalid though.

That would indeed make the reviews invalid.

The review bombing is a result of people not wanting this particular title for free, not because of anything actually bad or wrong about the game (minus not respecting my boomer inverted preference). Chances are high most haven't downloaded or played it.

I was playing on Tier 2 for most of it and then read a guide that said the 20% bonus xp for playing on Tier 2 is not worth the extra time it takes to kill the guys, basically they said you can burn through enemies faster at Tier 1 which ends up giving you more XP per minute then playing on Tier 2 so its more worthwhile to play on Tier one and burn through enemies faster for more overall XP per minute.

 

I'm at level 51 now though so I'm just using a map on Tier 1 to get all the Altars of Lilith and then im going to move up to Tier 3 to keep getting XP since I did my capstone dungeon.

I think that's safe to say for solo leveling, but if you're in a group the extra xp and gold are definitely worth it. Wife and I blasted the game on WT2 the entire way through, but we are both playing god tier characters as ww barb+pulv druid. Only one boss ever gave us trouble very early on when our builds weren't online yet, but was only a minor hiccup with a few deaths. No other story boss killed us the rest of the game and hilariously the only way the game can kill us is either one shot, 'WTF killed me' moments or being half asleep at the wheel when a pack of exploding mobs comes by. In fact, I think that's all that can kill the wife on her druid lmao. #busted

 

Another issue with sitting on WT1 is being able to finish capstone and enter WT3 comfortably. Since we had already been seasoned it was a one shot and we're now clearing in WT3 without an issue. Now the problem is getting good drops, and I'm convinced Blizz patched out being able to get my shout ring because I've never seen it in almost 60 levels of drops, gambling, etc. So much of my build comes online with that one piece of gear in terms of clearing faster, but the hardest boss in the game is RNG.

 

Regardless, the nerfs they rolled out so far hit both of us hard and only punished people behind the curve who didn't want to no-life it during early access. The top players are already min-maxed to 99.9% and anyone who missed that early push will struggle to the top a bit. I'm just hoping my bad luck on drops ends soon because as much as I love the game: it feels incredibly bad when character progression is starting to suffer when loot isn't dropping. My first sacred unique was a 2H sword focused entirely on rupture and went straight into the trash because even the ilvl was so bad it was 400 dps behind my rare.

Skip all side missions until WT3; completely not worth it. In our playthrough the only thing I wish I'd known was to focus a little more on the main story to get the horse faster. That is, the guidance online was just stating completing act 3 to unlock when what they meant was all acts up to 4. You can do the first three acts in any order as well if you get stuck, hence why we skipped straight to 3 for the horse unknowingly lol.

 

Certainly grab some altars of lilith if you need it, but those can also wait until WT3. The only dungeons required are for any aspects you need for your build, which are top priority. There's no wrong way to do it but if you can manage without struggling through the content, it's best to just blast the main story at least until the horse. Most everything else is best done in WT3 or leveling to 50 for capstone dungeon.

I’m actually impressed with how well done side quests and Aspects quests are in Diablo 4. I was taking a break from the boss I was having trouble with and did an Aspects quest for my sorcerer. Fun and pretty deep dungeon when I’m used to throw away go-get-this quests for that sort of thing in other games.

Not having inverted controls makes me automatically give every game a 1. How the hard is that to implement? It's not. It's been a staple for around for 40 years.

I disagree with all that. I'm on my first character and going slow. Enjoying exploring & doing the side missions. I never really got the whole trying to speed run to the end content of a new game / first play through mentality.

Your mentality is one that leads to deeper enjoyment and fulfillment, the rush to max mindset is the typical churner who never feels any satisfaction because they don't enjoy the process.
