It didn't really get brought up in the discussion but it was more then just Ace Attorney. It was certainly the most extreme but according to the leak Okami HD for example sold 2.2 mil copies but only 120k of that was on Xbox. Onimusha Warlords had a similar split (percent wise) as well.
My main thought on the matter is that we're lucky for what we did see on the Xbox One to be honest. A lot of people seem to have forgotten but Microsoft did throw money at Japanese companies in the early years of the 360 and we got some awesome games out of that but most didn't sell all that well. I think the best was Tales of Vesperia but it sold worse then the 2 major installments before it, Symphonia and Abyss, and Abyss didn't even come out in Europe.
After that a lot of more niche/mid tier Japanese games started to skip the 360. The fact some companies decided to try again on the One is very lucky.
To be fair, the games are old, but still I don't like to see that.
Capcom should put them on Gamepass.
I think there's only 2 Capcom games on Gamepass currently.
I really hope we can get a Megaman Battle Network Collection
