Any tips for playing The Evil Within? I'm trying to complete the monthly challenge to kill three enemies, but the first bad guy keeps killing me over and over. I would assume that getting three kills isn't that hard, but I might just delete the game if I can't pull off this challenge.

The first few areas of that game require stealth so approach from behind while crouch walking.When close enough you should get a Y or A prompt to perform a stealth kill.

Looking at Mudrunner American Wilds with some bing points. Has anyone played it on here for some CAG feedback? Looks interesting and could lead to Snowrunner Premium edition when that drops further in price.

Also what is with MS pricing of The Surge 1 & 2 base game bundle at $21? If you buy them separately they are $5 for Surge 1 and $12.50 for Surge 2. We see this every so often with MS and always puzzles me.

I'd recommend skipping Mudrunner and going straight to the much improved Snowrunner.

Mudrunner feels like an alpha test for Snowrunner; not necessarily bad, but very much incomplete.

Both are tough learning curves and slow starting simulation games but damn am I addicted to some Snowrunner. It's my go to "knock out a mission or two" game when I got a bit of extra time.

That said, if Mudrunner is a must play for you, do it before Snowrunner because I don't think it would be an easy step back.

I'm a huge fan of horror and campy graphic slaughterfests and even I found the experience to be dog poop so it might not be worth it for you to go through it

I bailed on this game pretty early on.  Thought I was missing out on something as people here on CAG and elsewhere at the time were liking the game.  I found it way too hard/annoying.

Playing on Hardcore, so far I think ME1 is easier. Between the rebalanced leveling giving a ton of skill points and the fully usable weapons on all classes it's a lot easier.

The only thing that has been noticably harder is the updated Thresher Maws. New abilities and better AI.

So this rumor of a platform-wide modding system is now floating around. I think people are reading it wrong though. Seeing a lot of "enabled by Bethesda's Creation Engine" which doesn't really make sense, you wouldn't use a game engine to mod other games, or even as a wrapper other than maybe a launcher/interface in the way MCC now uses UE4 for it's menus.

If these rumors hold water I would guess it's a new Xbox level delivery platform modeled off what Bethesda.net does for Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Hopefully with a better back end, closer to how Steam Workshop works.

Never got a chance to play Void Bastards. Enjoyed the demo at pax. At this point I think I'll wait for a sale instead of rushing to beat it.

My son loves it.  I on the other hand got turned off by the difficulty spikes especially if you went up a tier.  It's been on sale for $15 many times so I'd definitely say wait for that price.

I loved it on gamepass and played it a bunch until I I completed a basic run of the story. I bought the physical release on Switch and it plays great on the handheld lite. I got all the achievements I think I can get in the Xbox version so I will enjoy it on Switch for now.

Yes! Rain on Your Parade now has touch controls. It's one of those games that just makes sense for it to have a touch control option.
