Oooh, The Messenger for consoles. That one actually made me finally bite the bullet and play it on my PC. I'd probably take a second pass on it if the achievement lists are separate.

And Streets of Rogue. I've wanted to try that one out. Good gets.

Heard great things about The Messenger. Looking forward to checking that out!

Streets of Rogue is also supposed to be good.

Streets of Rogue is the best game that I played this year.  I bought it on PS4, Steam, Switch, and Xbox One.  I like it that much.

Yes! Some nice games there. I played Messenger on PC for a little bit, but quickly set it aside once I realized there were no achievements. It'll be nice to play it with achievements this time. Interested to try out Night Call and Streets of Rogue too.

Fuck yes. I was hoping Messenger would be on Game Pass since the PC version already was, I know what I'm doing this weekend.

I still haven't received my Sonic code. I know they still have a few days to send them out but for those that got theirs, when did you buy your movie? I bought mine on the last day, the 15th.

Streets of Rogue is great. Pretty steep learning curve, but the amount of stuff you can do is fantastic.

On topic of streamers, I got into them from, wait for it... Dark Souls. It started with weapon showcases and backstab tutorials, but now there's a half dozen people I watch primarily for their banter. I think one of the reasons streaming appeals to me is that my older brother hardly ever shared video games so I'd have to watch him more than I got to play myself. There are also whole genres of games I hate to play but get a lot of enjoyment from watching someone who knows what they're doing, like fighting games.

Dark Souls also got me interested in speed running, so Karl Jobst and Summoning Salt are high on my subscription lists. Although I mostly watch their documentary style videos rather than streams.

At the end of the day, it's just entertainment. I get preferring scripted content that has dozens or hundreds of people fine tuning every aspect, but I've always had a lot of love for little guys just out there doing their own thing. You don't get as polished of a final product, but you also don't get something watered down for the lowest common demographic.

While doing the weekly Game Pass quest, I discovered that Costume Quest 2 is a fun Paper Mario clone.  Whodathunkit?

Love both Costume Quest games! I like to replay them around Halloween-time.

There's achievements in the GamePass for PC version, got my 1000, great game. Still need to finish up the DLC, it's totally different than the base game and honestly haven't liked it so far. https://www.trueachi...ws/achievements

They put out a series of 6 ID@Xbox videos, some really interesting stuff in there. I want to check out Carrion for sure

You guys, I'm not going to lie, in these trying times I legit take pleasure in whenever Nintendo does an announcement for something, I greatly enjoy the random "fans" throwing tantrums over them not announcing things that they want.

Also I'm excited for The Messenger, but sure as hell don't know when I can make time for The Messenger. There are so many fucking games to play...

Can’t wait! I was playing Reach last night and thinking how all I really need this fall is a really good new Halo game.

I’m just doing the Campaign which is still fantastic, always a bit sad though as the Spartans die :( I just finished Long Night of Solace.

Played the remaster and it's excellent. Having played (or replayed, depending on the game) through all the Halo games in the last two years, Reach is my personal favorite, almost tied with ODST. The first two games have not aged as well due to repetitive or unnecessarily long level designs, although both are still fun - they just feel like games from the early 2000s. Bungie really perfected their game design with ODST and Reach, though, so if you have Game Pass you should give it a spin.

Bungie are the kings of artificially lengthening their games by making you go back through the level again to continue rather than loading the next part after a cut scene.

Cool, two games i wanted to play (The Messenger, Streets of Rogue), and two more to discover.

Game Pass is so good for indie games... They've gotten into such a good flow of quality games with the right mix of AAA and indie, i'm always excited for their next announcements. Can't see myself letting GP run out anytime soon. Keep it up, MS.

Awesome. Gonna start tonight. Thanks for the insight.

On a liquid diet today because of a colonoscopy tomorrow and I’m starving! Please tell me The Messenger will go live in a hour or so instead of tomorrow morning. I need a new distraction!

Ahh, I have Crohn’s and am old so it’s par for the course. Doesn’t mean I don’t hate this shit. Literally.

I hope that everything goes well. Hospitals have become a super scary place during the pandemic. My mom needs surgery on her leg, and they won't even let us see her while she is recovering in the hospital because of Covid 19.

Good luck with the colonoscopy tomorrow. Those are never fun. Part of getting old I guess.

I'm almost mid 30's and have discovered my blood pressure is through the roof these days (213/134 as of this morning).  Had no idea how bad that was so I'm cutting all alcohol, sweets, salt and everything else delicious until it's at a reasonable level, long term.

My job is client-facing and on top of COVID, it's been the most stressful year ever. Hopefully when I around to the colonoscopy part of life, I'll have it better managed

Also- 'The Messenger' looks fantastic
