How long do you have until the credit expires? Is it the usual 90 days? Also, I know it usually auto redeems at the beginning of the month, but if I were to sign up today, would I get one for January right away?
I didn’t think I’d use the credit enough to warrant it but I’ve been making occasional smaller purchases and I think it might come in handy now.

Think they were asking for joycon-like controllers that attach to the Switch. The only third party joycon I have is the hori left d pad. I love it but it only works in portable mode and probably not “pro” style.

With game pass ultimate until October 2023, there are no games on the horizon I want to buy. Weird feeling. I’d be tempted to get every new controller but the new style is not as ergonomic for me. Guess I’ll just stockpile rewards points for a special edition Series console.

I need your Fallout 76 expertise please. I'm on the mission I am become death, current objective is to launch a nuke from any silo[decrypted launch code required] I go to the places it tells me and turn the button green in the portapotty but nothing happens. Sometimes the icon on the map goes away and sometimes it stays. I have watched vids but they aren't helpful. They don't show where I am and what I am supposed to do. I have killed like 18 of those guys carrying the codes on their back throughout my playing. What in the world am I supposed to do?

Bethesda intended players to hunt those silo codes down through a quest triggered in the bunker. It would send you out to get one piece at a time, and was a PITA and nobody does it that way anymore. I couldn't even do it the one time I tired because the silo failed to show any of the code I needed to unscramble in the silo. Those pieces you've collected randomly all self destruct at the same time each week, so you probably don't have many if any at this point.

 

It's been so long since I did it I don't recall how far you need to be to be into the quest, but you can just get the silo codes from Nukacrypt - Fallout 76 companion app (roguetrader.com) they are listed at the bottom for each silo. As long as you have a nuclear keycard you should be good to go, no need to track down those code pieces or decrypting them.

My first thought when I saw the Ubi news was "oh man, they are just going to reskin Beyond Good and Evil 2, right?" but EA still has 2 years left on their deal and BGE2 has already been in development for 5+ years.

The porta potty is the exit not the entrance. I don't remember if the mission marker pointing to the wrong place is a regular glitch or if it means that silo is currently used up. There are 3 silos and they have a timer reset after they get used on that server before you can launch again from that one. Don't need to bother with those card carrying officers as you can cheat and lookup on the launch code for each silo on nukacrypt? I think. Just make sure you have a nuclear keycard from those flying cargo bot things you can shoot down, probably should bring extras in case you enter the wrong launch code and waste the card as it gets used up on a failure too.

Use the wiki to find location of the entrance such as Silo Alpha. Each one should have an elevator that takes you down into the robot filled silo. Be prepared to spend a lot of time and frustration clearing the whole thing and following objectives only for something to get screwed up. My first nuke launch was back when mission markers were totally broken for me so I had no clue what it wanted me to do or where. It took an hour to make it to the end when the game crashed 2 minutes before launch. Lol.

I had to take an elevator down and there were so many robots and radiation and I had to repair leaking pipes and I died so many times and I got to the part where I need to repair mainframe cores and had to go to sleep. This is difficult but I will get through it. Hopefully making progress towards finally beating this NOT FUN mission.

You were fairly close to the end, once you find replacements or fix the broken cores you just have one section left, where you protect the five bots necessary to launch the nuke from all the security forces. Depending on the server you could only fight a few, or you could be fighting an unending wave of them, Bethesda apparently uses RNG with their server infrastructure as well as in game.

Holy shit, I never thought about that.  You would still need to babysit for 14 damned hours but at least  you splice the time and make it tolerable. Just be sure to read an FAQ so you can ration food and avoid the game crashing.

I started Edith Finch on Xbox but I wasn’t feeling the 30fps so I switched over to the PC version, just recently added to Game Pass. Problem is, none of the PC achievements are showing up for me. I’ll wait a day and see if they trigger, but has anyone else run into this with a GP PC title?

I just loaded the game back up and it's making me start the mission all over. F that! Stupid game. Ridiculous. I go back in the elevator after starting it over 2 times to find an open server and I have to do everything again. I swear this is some stupid programming. They don't even give you a warning that the mission will start over if you exit out of the game. It's a main quest too which means I will have to do this if I want to beat the game. This is straight BS. All that work I did last night was for nothing. Around 2 hours and a lot of items wasted.

The PC version doesn't have achievements, but if you've earned the achievements from the Xbox One version they will show up when you look at the game in the Xbox app on PC.  It's weird.

They both hit $5 sometime in the last 12-15 months, I think it was holiday 2018, which is when I picked them up. Obnoxious they don't always go that low for folks who missed out.
