Went to BB just now and it seems you can't preorder yet in-store. I can't really pre-order online cuz I don't wanna pay it fully as of now, plus I got some credits I want to use as well.

I have 8 3DS XL systems. Kind of sad.

2 Animal Crossing XL's / 2 Pikachu XL's / 1 Red Pokemon XY / 1 Blue Pokemon XY / 1 Red 3DS / 1 Red 3DS XL. Now I'm asking myself if I should buy 1 or 2 Zelda 3DS XL's!!!

I own a Black 3DS, Blue 3DS XL, and the Red Pokemon XY 3DS... But mine all get used.

Nah, most are opened.

I originally got a 3DS (red) and played the heck out of it. When the XL was announced I bought a red one to play with the larger screen. I then bought two Pikachu 3DS XL's, opened one, kept one sealed for safe keeping. Bought two Animal Crossing XL's, opened 1 and kept 1 sealed again for safe keeping. When the Pokemon XL's came out, I bought two (one red, one blue) but didn't have a need to open either of them yet. I'm sure I'll open one of them once I jump into the pokemon series. Will buy 1 or 2 Zelda XL's, obviously I'll open one to play the digital download and one for safe keeping.

My original plan was to display these in my home theater room when I eventually buy a house.

Had no reason to flip any of my units as money isn't really an issue with me, but with the rate of these limited XL's that are coming out, I might flip my pikachu and animal crossing XL to get some excess fund to buy more limited edition units.

 
Yeah, Best Buy charged as soon as I placed my order.

EDIT: It's displaying the full amount as a 'Pending' transaction.

Ok, I used all my rewards, which was $50 and I see the pending charge and blah, blah, blah msg for pick-up on the 22nd. :robot:

Whatever his reason those Pikachus shot up in value for the $170 that people paid for them.

Look at the other Pokemon the red and the blue edition they are almost gone and the value are going up.

I'm sure these will not last. Probably more than a demand than an xbox one and the ps4

it is on purpose, it happened with the zelda wii-u bundle, pokemon x and y 3ds xl

 
Bestbuy is wierd.. the same thing happened to me on the Zelda Wii-U. Freaked me out.. they charged, then charged back then about 2-3 days before the shipping date of the unite. I got re-charged.. So expect it and dont freak out.. Still very happy that BB got it.. At least itll give me something towards them crappy RZ dollars vs GS.

At the very least everyone here could just use his phone number to get the 10% off if they don't already have PUR. Gamestop would think Mr. Blackman was the most well traveled Gamestop customer there is.
 
As much as I like to think this is Pikachu 2.0.....I think it has an equal probability of being Zelda Wii U 2.0......$220 +Tax/Shipping is VERY high for a 3DS, when during Black Friday, odds are normal 3DS XL's will be averaging around $170 per.....Also, you have to think most people already own an XL and do not feel the need to pay for a new one....the Pikachu XL was released not too long after normal XLs were released, so you have to figure many people who bought the Pikachu XL upgraded from their normal 3DS systems.  Now that most people already own an XL, it is hard to see these flying off the shelves, especially at that price.  This is a tough one to gauge.

I think more people are fans of the 3DS vs the Wii U. Plus it seems like a ton of people buy it again and again and again... and again.

 
Did an in store pick up order at Best Buy and cancelled my Gamestop order.  When Amazon goes up I'll be getting one from them.

 
Put a preorder down in store yesterday, minimum down is $25. Thank god it doesn't release on Black Friday!

What $40 game is the normal 3DS XL including? :roll:

It sucks that it's a download code, but at the current $199 price for the regular XL, the Zelda 3DS XL is good, it's giving you $20 off of the new Zelda game. I'm sure there will be a sale on the XL on Black Friday, but even if you factor in a $170 price for the regular XL the Zelda XL would be $10 higher, so I have no idea how you get the idea that $220 is VERY high.

I've got $75 in credit at BB, I'll probably buy it there and sell my current XL on Craigslist for around $150, making it about a wash for me. So pissed I missed the charging docks on CN, I would have liked to have gotten a white dock for this thing.

I don't think amazon has ever offered it for sale.  I've been checking their site every couple of hours since the 3DS XL announcement was made for North America.  No way was this ever listed for sale on their site.  Perhaps they are preparing to list it though....I hope.
