AMC's The Walking Dead - S3 2nd half starts 02/10/13 9PM ET

-During that shooting gallery, i bet Tyrese was the one hitting the body while everyone was getting headshots. Poor Tyrese still can't get them hacks.

-As i expected, in such a short amount time those 2 girls were better actresses than carl has been the entire series lmao.

-For some reason i just wanted Tyrese to look all pissed off for about a couple of seconds then raise up and just smile and say "fuck that bitch i didn't like her anyway" and walk away happy with carol.

-And Tyrese knew Karen for a lot more than 15 minutes, granted its still a damn short time to act like she was his wife. No love for his sis at all, gotta show love for his wite womenz doe Cutty style.

I really hope they weren't trying to build up the whole  whose been feeding the zombies mystery cause everyone knew who it was since day 1.

I am glad we're finally through this episode. They built up to it for so long it became so obvious. Especially if you had read the comics. Still a pretty solid episode. Though knocking off the girls probably means Beth is going to come back at some point. I feel like they wouldn't kill them all off.

I don't know what you guys are all emotional about...but it didn't make me feel sad.  If she wanted to be a walker , let her be a walker.  My wife and I were thinking about that fire....and if it was the fire from the house Beth and Daryl burned down?

Nah they looked like they were wearing uniforms so probably another crashed helicopter. Apparently no one knows how to fly helicopters anymore

Also on talking dead the actress for Carol seemed kinda cunty toward that wrestling dude when he was making jokes. She acted like she actually had to kill a kid and kept referring to Carol as a real person.

It was sad that the crazy kid killed the normal one. Sad that Carol was forced to kill a child.

Not sad that the crazy one was killed per se.

That was a fantastic episode. It's always tough to see kids go. Even though Carl is just a kid, his acting skills are subpar when you compare it to the other girls. I wonder if the show ever considers replacing him with another actor. Looking forward to the next couple of episodes. As for the Lizzie reveal, disagreed. I didn't suspect it was her since Day 1.

I admit I bought into the Bob being crazier than he looked red herring initially. I guess he really was just a desperate drunk.
Same here. That box he was being very secretive about definitely put suspicion on him. But I guess it was just a hidden stash.

The way they killed that girl reminded me of ''of mice and men''. Tell me about the flowers carol. BOOM

But damn that was a brutal episode not sad but like damn #YWKIS
I said the same thing to my fiance last night. It was very Of Mice and Men

After he got Kyle Gallner killed I sort of forgot Bob was even a character for most of the season. The alcoholic bit seemed to forced to be interesting.

I really wonder what was the trigger that caused her to start all of that shit?  The feeding of the walkers at the Prison fence, the squirrel and so on....

I personally think she should have killed herself and let her reanimate as a walker and for someone like her sister kill her and then have her go crazy.

I've said it before in this thread but this show sure does love killing little girls.
show needs more Bear attacks. Also why would the fire just put itself out. Love how they were all burned by they still had clothes on.

Was sort of hoping you would of seen the attack on the school bus but i guess they did not think it would mean much.

ALSO why the hell didnt they ever have a plan to meet anywhere in case the prison got attacked. I mean even if it got attacked by zombies you would think they would have a fall back plan. Hell i dont even think anyone was even looking for the bus

That's okay. The bus was just full of the last remainig survivors from Woodbury.

Those Woodbury folks were living it up until Rick and his crew showed up. Nice houses, booze, generators, a downtown, and the Saturday night fights for gladiators in the arena. It was pretty sweet. Then the war with the prison, Woodbury abandoned, living in crappy prison cells, deadly bird flu and finally zombie bus.

I think the idea is that the girl always had mental issues, likely before the apocalypse even happened. If you look at all the clues they laid out it becomes pretty clear she had some kind of long standing mental disorder. For starters her sister said on more than on occasion she wasn't "messed up" like her and they didn't think the same way, leads me to think she probably got that idea from her family before the apocalypse. The feeding of the walkers is one thing, but she also said on the last episode she heard them (voices in her head most likely). The killing of the small animal like rabbits and such (on several occasions mind you). The fact that she would zone out even with danger all around her. Not only that but one time during zoning out she tried to kill Judith. Carol even ackknowledged afterwards that Lizzie was mentally unhinged the whole time but that she missed it... Etc.

Really if you think about it was at least partially Carol's fault that Lizzie ended up that messed up. Granted she is not a psychologist but she gave a girl who was a sociopath weapons, taught her how to kill, and then even told her she needed to kill the living more than a few times. I call that invoking disaster. Once she did actually kill someone and that behavior was reinforced no less it only would push the kid further into her mental illness...

To be honest I would've been all for Tyrese putting a bullet through Carol. This is mostly because even though she feels she must be strong no matter what after the events in her life, this idea has made her most mentally unhinged adult from the original group and is danger to everyone living with her. This is why Rick kicked her to the curb earlier and with good reason...

Yeah, except Tyrese has a worse hit % than a storm trooper when it comes to guns.

And yes, mental issues manifest in children from a young age and get progressively worse as they mature, especially if left unchecked and/or medicated as was the case here.

I work in special education and I didn't think of it this way.......... so probably the terms, "forgot to take her meds..." comes to mind.  Without a good backstory, we will never know right?

I thought it was interesting how she was going to go off with the girl because people wouldn't be safe around her. Really taking the mother role. Then she changed her mind, popped her in the back of the head, and buried her by the bushes.

I felt the same way, too. In which case I kind of blame the father. He didn't say anything about her being messed up in the head. And yet Mika knew to tell her to breathe and count and stuff when she got upset? Clearly that's not something Mika just learned on her own and something that the family had to do. I mean, I know he was dying and shit but still. You'd think he could have been like, "Wait, my kid is crazy! Make sure she doesn't hurt anyone/takes her meds!"

Not to mention they were at the prison for quite some time and you'd think he'd share that info with the doctor or whoever. But then again, the doc died from the flu, so maybe the dad did tell someone else.

Lizzie's illness and state of mind slowly worsened and probably much more after she had to kill someone. Plus it is quite plausible that even though her family knew some ways to temporarily calm her it's not like they had anyway to actually medicate her. I think most of the child psychologists were walkers and it's not like you could run to CVS for some anti-psychotic drugs.

That said, when trying to live among a small, post-apocalyptic group I doubt the father's game plan was to stand up and say to everyone "Hey my daughter is mentally disturbed and poses a possible threat to everyone here...". Somehow I don't think that would have gone very smoothly. Plus the father could have been in denial or simply to inept to grasp his daughter had a real issue.

We can only hope it goes somewhat like this:

(Skip to ~40 second mark, since CAG doesn't like links that start videos at a certain point)

I have no idea how they're going to do anything like this and manage to not gut the show or have huge sections of blur bars over everything.

Last episodes walkers were some of the most horrible yet, plus when they're at the fence and being put down, there's numerous headshots that aren't very contained, as it were.

Maybe they'll change the blood to bright green, so it won't look like human blood.

There probably aren't a lot of Sex and the City fans in here, but what they ended up doing was cutting the show down to 22 minutes from the original runtime in order to cut out the parts that were too graphic as well as having different cuts of certain scenes. I'm guessing that they're going to do the same thing here.

according to  EW   the  place they are going to is a  trap or something cause it pushes   RICK to his limits .   but who knows they were wrong in the past

Like I said when the signs were first found, this is probably the show's take on the Hunters from the book. That's when Rick really got a taste for bloodlust.

lol @ these dipshits actually not being suspicious of terminus being a sanctuary  with no guards and the gate being held together by a lock that came off so easily.

Rosita used pants! Its very effective!  ( not really)

-Glenn so pussy whipped he almost got his dumbass and tara killed until he was saved by plot contrivance.

and got to love no zombies there.

Why do I have this strange feeling that the mother of the two girls was in that van?

Something tells me that that lady was cooking up the last series of visitors on her grill.

This finale better be worth the dicking around these past few weeks.  I'll be super pissed if most of the cast is killed/eaten and that guy still doesn't say shit about how it all started.

This doesn't feel like a proper build up to a season finale. Showdown at the prison/death of governor was a season finale.

Why is Eugene slowing becoming my favorite character?

The actor was pretty great on Talking Dead last night.

Just off the top of my head without thinking about it too much, I think this has been the worst half season yet. I mean, it's still worth watching, but I'm not sure it measures up against the rest. I guess we'll see after next Sunday.

I like how nobody seems the least bit suspicious of Terminus. Woodbury looked amazing (and was if you got along with ol' Phillip), but this just seems creepy cannibals and/or cultists.

We already did Darryl becoming "Bad Darryl" before with his hallucinations in the woods with Merle. He came out of the woods being a jerk and wearing an ear necklace. Andrea sniped him for his bad fashion sense.

Also looks like it will be a very busy episode next week. Gotta have the groups all meet, Darryl decide who he loves more, figure out what is Terminus, big fight scene, and then decide on going to Washington DC. I'm going to guess we will lose quite a few since that mini-van doesn't look very big :D

Food is drugged, Rick and gang show up, but not until Abraham is half eaten. Daryl shows up and claims Rick, making him off limits to anyone else that wants to kill him. Standoff happens, Tyrese finally shows up. Huge fight happens, cannibals and Daryl's new friends get slowly chopped up.

Everyone forgets about Beth and move on to Washington.
