Something I forgot to add to my earlier post is that the pre order situation hinges on what happens at the Gamestop manager's meeting at the end of the month and not to expect pre orders until early-mid october. The earlier post that mentioned how much more gamestop and eb makes if this is true...

Just got back from my gamestop where I know the store manager very well. He went as far as checking his email with me standing there and there is absolutely no mention of any flyer or pre orders next week.

You didn't do much of anything wrong since you had a problem with your PSP but where did you actually get the PSP from? A lot of places like walmart have a policy where you can return it within 30-90 days for a full refund. I had to do this with my first PSP because the screen had dead pixels...

The fat wallet deal is great but if you're not into rebates, need the card now, and you have the 10% off coupon in your email box it's a decent deal... Not trying to argue, I'm just not a fan of rebates and thought it would be a decent add... Too bad the card is still marked as 55 dollars pre...

Funny you mention it. My gamestop actually SUGGESTED I get on their pre order list and the EB that's also near my house to "better my chances of getting a PS3" and that "I could just sell the other one if I ended up with two" ::wink wink::
