Well, it won't be much help to you, in NY. Okay, I'll just say that it's a deal on a Vita hardware bundle in the Virginia Beach area. Any CAG in the area looking for a Vita can PM me for details. Perhaps this way I don't get anyone's hopes up for nothing.

Yeah, if it weren't for my discounts, I would rarely buy a game there that wasn't on the clearance rack. However, if you really want a game day one and nobody has a good deal, you can just get it at Target, and when Best Buy takes $20-30 off two months later, buy it there and return the sealed...

This is really kind of dumb on Target's part. Sell an accessory at launch that already comes with the system, then discontinue the accessory before anyone has a chance to lose it. Then when someone finally comes in looking for a replacement, you have no choice but to send them to Gamestop/Best...

As a retail employee, I don't really see this as a "scam". 3DS systems are not flying off the shelf at $250. If CAGers and like-minded individuals were not picking these systems up now with the intent to price adjust later, the systems would just sit on the shelf until after the price drop...

I pulled this off the shelf at my store this morning. It happened because they had to make a home location for it early, since it comes out in between the weekly revisions.

I agree, I do feel a little stupid for not reading that part of the OP, but I still don't think it's unreasonable for store employees to have a general knowledge of their own rewards program. People at Best Buy might not know every Reward Zone deal, but they all know the program exists.
