A little nugget from a manager. Clearance prices are a result of needing to make room for new products. The new Target games section increases their inventory space. More space = less markdowns, because there is more space to hold more products. Some clearance games were even marked back up...

I'm not sure about the compatibility, but the controllers MAY be universal for ps2 and ps3. I'd do some research beforehand, but that alone may make it worth a purchase.

I love how everyone blames Target for the lack of clearance when it's obviously a result of the Holiday release calendar. There is less clearance because there are less games to clear out.

I meant earliest to the clearance on markdown day. I didn't think I needed to clarify. Things are worth what people are willing to pay for them. With that said, I'm off to Target! :-]

It's not that bad. With the new setup, you actually have a better chance at a game now, rather than someone hiding/stashing all the games in bedding, automotive, or housewares. This way, the early bird gets the worm, instead of the hoard-y bird. Sucks for you stashers through.

This is frustrating. I have two charges on one card and one on the other. I don't want to try anymore, but I'd really like to get in on this deal.
