At this point I don't think anyone should be surprised when a game goes on sale within weeks or even days after release. It seems to be pretty standard practice at this point. :-)
I found the clearance Vizio with the correct DPCI number but it was marked $450. I went and typed in the number into a scanner and it also said aroud $450. This was a 32" 1080P Vizio. My Target clearance is always way, way behind everywhere else.
I broke down and bought CivRev when I heard it was on sale for $4.99 and that wasn't the regular price. The the 3GS it plays very smoothly. The game feels identical (except for graphics) to the console version. Glad I purchased it. Managed to stay up too late last night playing it in bed.
All I can say is that I went to two Targets near me that listed as "Available" and they were not at clearance at either of those Targets. I'll have to look again to see if I can find one with "Limited Availability" and try it out though.
My friend and I have hit a combined 3 TRU's now in Phoenix and can't find even a single copy of the game for the 360. I wonder why there are such large variations in store stock like this.
I rarely hit Sears clearance anymore cause they either never have any clearance games, or the prices aren't as good as everywhere else. And I've hit most of them throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Well, tonight my wife had to return something at Arrowhead mall, so I figured why not...
