So unfortunately I was out of town when i had finally seen the trade in promos for the PS4/X1. I currently have a super slim PS3(that I added a HDD into)[and a slew of games], that I'm looking to trade in for either a PS4 or X1 but it looks like all the promos have ended? Anyone know if anyones...

Steam doesn't have control over the sale price of any games but their own(HL, Portal, ETC). AFAIK Steam approaches each publisher with a value and they can accept or deny it. Its the reason you never saw EA titles at steep discounts usually.

It doesn't raise the value by 100, it raises the MSRP /to/ 100. As far as I know the grand majority of CE's contain more then just a collectible statue/figure - so the 40 dollar increase is spaced between those. That being said, most of the time - the figures aren't cheap plastic green army men...

Anywhere else other then gamestop offing trade in bonuses(not BB - their preordering is awful). Looking to get rid of a lot of my crummy 360 games(and my broken console) to put towards a new console.

Think they announced it as a launch title for next gen consoles didn't they? Would jump on it if it was redeemable for next gen..there's very few titles I'll be picking up now on current gen :/

Looking to get a PS3 and the past two weeks haven't yielded any good deals. Anyone remember when the last good sale/deal was for a PS3? I figured they would eb pretty often with the next gen coming out this year..

Last sales were only for 25-50~USD off right? Or has there been some better stuff recently. I thought about it for a bit but theres no real 'shopping holiday' or reason for big sales coming up which is why I'm thinking about heading out today to pick it up.
