Have you ever walked out of a movie in a theater? If yes, which film(s)?

Battlefield Earth. Worst movie ever. Maybe if they labeled it a comedy, I would have stuck around till the end.

fugazi_chichimon, I guess if your HS was near there, you must've attended Stuyvesant. And Haggar, I don't know if we're still talking bout my place, but the only lady that ever worked for us was my friend's wife.

    Independent game shops in Manhattan

Hey Haggar, are you talking about the on West Broadway, between Chambers and Warren Street. If you are, then I might remember you. I used to own that store with my friend from 91 to 2001. I wrote about it in some other topic a while back but no one remembered my store. Finally, someone who's...

    35% off Doc Martens

Wow, I didn't know Docs were still around. I remember the early 90's where everyone wore Docs, a plaid shirt untucked, and carried around a Manhattan Portage bag. Those were good times.

    I LOVE The Postal Service!!!

It's never too late to discover a great album. The Postal Service is great. If you like them alot, check out their EP's. Also, listen to The Rapture. They are very similar and are often mentioned in the same breath as The Postal Service.

    TV as a computer monitor

Thanks for the info. I don't want to sound all needy, but I would love to know where I can purchase a 7-pin to 4-pin S-video cord. I have been to all the usual suspects (Best Buy, Radio Shack, CC, etc) and none of them carry such a cord. And most of the times, they don't even know what I am...

    TV as a computer monitor

Yeah, I understand that there is gonna be a difference, but I would like the option of using both, switching back and forth.

    TV as a computer monitor

This is something that I have been thinking of doing. I would like to know what the computer-tech-savvy CAG'ers think of it. And if by any chance, if someone knows the most cost-effective, yet, simpliest way of performing this, please post. BTW, my rig has a 7-pin S-video outlet to a 4-pin...

People sepculating that the PS3 will be priced in the 299-340 range are dead wrong.

People who do not understand financial statements and corporate finance should not pretend to understand such topics. And by the way, the word debt does not hold the same meaning in a corporation as it does in a everyday situation. So please let's not talk about any of the economics of these...

Any one own a game store?

Hey thingsfallnapart, I actually did own a videogame store myself up until 2003. From my experience, I can say that it's going to be very difficult to stay in the 'green' much longer unless you add a new aspect to your store. I sold anime and collectibles (toys, cards, etc...) and without those...
