The single player blows. But the multiplayer was absolutely TOPS... assuming you could find someone to play with you. It's some of the most fun I've had playing a multiplayer FPS for some reason.

Yep! I went to EB for trade ins and they offered two dollars for three games. Went to Gamestop and they offered $22 (I only paid $15 for the games in the first place, so yay!). I don't even bother with EB, anymore.

For what it's worth, Crimson Skies for the Xbox is technically Crimson Skies 2: High Road to Revenge. The story still carried over from the original, so I'd say that counts for something. :)

I don't know. I'm on the third go-through with Fable, and the only other game I've ever done that with is Pirates. Most games leave little interest for me to play through a second time, let alone a third. I think that speaks volumes as to how good the game is. As for not living up to the hype...

I also found HSFore to be a lot more challenging for whatever reason. Plus, I think it's a lot more fun in general. Tiger's awesome if you want some authenticity to the sport, though.

The problem seemed to me that nobody knew when the show was on. On the east coast, it was always pre-empted by football and I completely gave up on trying to catch it. I loved it, but sitting down to watch it and getting football every time was way frustrating. It needed another time slot.

Agreed. I have both versions and never noticed a single hint of slowdown. Maybe he had the DVD spooling issue that is known to cause jerkiness in games like that (I had that problem with that very game, until I sent it away for a tune up. Worked like a charm after that.) Anyway, Dynasty...

The problem seems to be that most people equate "length" of a game with "value" of a game. I'd much rather have a 12 hour game that I can't stop playing than a 60 hour game artificially inflated with random battles to make the game long, yet incredibly boring. If that argument doesn't hold...
