    Target Clearance Thread XXII

Years had passed since my last Target clearance find. I had all but given up on prowling the back aisle in the electronics section, its disheveled shelves barren of anything apart from an endless stream of old Rock Band expansions for $20.98. But then, today, wandering through again as if to...

    Just Cause 2 (X360/PS3) $19.99 free shipping Newegg.com

I passed when the Egg had this for $25 on Cyber Monday because I'd been on a buying spree that weekend. My backlog is just as full now as it was then, but I'm telling myself it's going to be hard to find after this, so I'm in!

    Split second ps3 $19.99

Worth it at over. Hot Pursuit may be the popular choice for arcade racer of the year (and it is good) but Split/Second is the most original and unique. The career mode isn't super long, but that doesn't stop it from being epic.

Tony Hawk Ride (360 and PS3) for $30 at Big Lots

Man, at that price I almost want to bite, remembering all those fun nights back in the day with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3... But I know, I know, this is nothing like that.

    SPLIT/SECOND (360/PS3) is $19.99 with free shipping thru 11/29

It's weird, but as different as trick-heavy ATV racing is from explosion-heavy car racing, Pure and Split/Second do feel a lot alike. They really do have a certain Blackrock arcade racer feel to them. So, if you hated Pure, you'll probably hate S/S, but if you loved the earlier game (as I did)...

    SPLIT/SECOND (360/PS3) is $19.99 with free shipping thru 11/29

I still think the rubber banding in S/S probably got blown out of proportion. I've finished some races up to 7 seconds ahead -- I'm almost certain the rubber banding here is limited to just making the AI drive really well and not actually turboing or teleporting.

    SPLIT/SECOND (360/PS3) is $19.99 with free shipping thru 11/29

I got it at the same price a few weeks ago on a stealth sale at BB. Extremely addictive. I'm about halfway through the career mode and loving it, but I hear the AI gets really dirty in the last two episodes?

Newegg Black Friday Gaming Sale Now Live

Just got my price alert on Just Cause 2. Y'know, I never used to have a backlog... Now I'm on track to have more unopened games at the end of this week than I have beaten in the last six months! *shakes fist at Black Friday season*

Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

Never had much luck at the Woodfield Mall (Chicago area) Sears before, but I saw a couple of PS3 titles today that aren't in the OP: $14.97 :ps3: Lego Rock Band $14.97 :ps3: Far Cry 2 The latter of which I picked up, and rang up for $9.97! Lego Rock Band may be the same but I didn't check.

Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection $9.99 New/$8.99 Used @ Gamestop

This was the only game I preordered in 2009. If you are on the fence about getting this game, you should ask yourself "do I hate pinball?" and if the answer is no, then you should go and pick it up. :)

    Target Clearance Thread XV*

Sycamore, IL circa yesterday afternoon: :ps3: Mini Ninjas $34.~~ :ps3: Dirt 2 $29.~~ I think I saw :360: versions of both strewn about that poor abandoned endcap as well.

    Target Clearance Thread XV*

Man, this thread is like a window into a parallel world where the Targets don't sell out of titles the moment they hit $44.98.

Borderlands PC - $46 - Amazon (Steam Deals DEAD)

What's great about the boxart is that it's really different. There's nothing else on the market that quite looks like it. What's bad about the boxart is that it's just... ugly. Either way, I'm probably waiting for this to hit $40 somewhere unless the reviews are absolutely stunning.
