Yup. It's just more fun. Now, I wouldn't say I prefer it over Civ 4 despite all that, but Civ 5 has a ton of stuff stripped out or streamlined (religion, for example) and still manages to get bogged down and tedious. Basically though, Civ Rev just plays faster and was a lot of fun to play.

Honestly, I liked Civ Revolution on 360 more than I'm liking Civ 5.
