I'm going to try and get the Amazon PS3 bundle.. anything that prevents me from having to sit outside a store for 7 hours for a chance at a bundle that EVERYONE has is a good thing. I wish it wasn't a "doorbuster".. Damn thing should be that price all the time.

Yeah, Amazon support. Seems odd that they would be sold out, my thinking is they just don't know how many they're getting and looking to get that straightened out before allowing more.

Q: Why buy this when you can just purchase the original consoles? A: Have you seen the ebay prices for a perfectly working NES, SNES, Famicom, Super Famicom, Genesis, Megadrive, and Gameboy Color?  Not even going into the HDMI ports, trying to position wires for 10 systems in your living room...

Sigh.. I hate playing RPGs on handheld devices. Mostly because when I'm away from my house, I'm not gaming. I'm doing things. Driving. Talking. Shopping. And then I get to go home and use the small screens to play all these games. Its a waste of my entertainment system.

Unless he intends to use a time machine, most video games aren't good investments. Of course you can generally tell which ones are good to flip and which ones aren't worth the risk. Kingdoms of Amalur is one. Diablo 3 was another.

Android Set top box? Looks interesting, but I've got a good game system, I don't need a casual XBLA/PSN type monster that I can't buy used games for, nor sell. Hell you could probably emulate the whole thing on a fast enough PC.
