Nothing special so far. Then again, Best Buy was the big winner last year IMO, hopefully Futureshop takes it this time (they're MUCH closer :D)
 
RFD has so many "deal hunters" and "hoarders" that there is no way in heck that something shows up here and doesn't show up on RFD. Although it would be quite nice, to benefit the people that know about this forum :).

i did not see the sixaxis controller in the Superstore boxing day flyer that was uploaded on RFD!
 
So far there's only a few good deals. My Superstore had no Sixaxis controllers in stock, but I'm curious to see what they're going to clear out (all their $18.98 stuff?).

EB has a couple of good game prices, but overall nothing special and definitely not worth the crazy lines. Rogers 2/30 would be nice as there's a few good titles on the shelves right now, but I haven't seen any signage or anything.

Hmm... my Boxing Day specials are almost worked out (pretty much got it figured out), I'm just waiting to see how early I'll be open, but here's a hint... everything in the store will be on sale, a few door crasher (limited number) specials, and something so crazy... (you'll just have to wait a few more days to find out).
 
i'll be in the States during the Boxing Day weekend or else I'd try to door crash on some games at most of those places like last year. Hopefully some of you Canadian CAGers get what you want and beat out the RFD hoarders too, cuz chances are they'll be out in force buying games left and right and than putting it up on craigslist or ebay.

Just read the RFD forums. thx to you guys and CheapyD for keeping this online sale quiet for awhile from RFD, it gave us CAGers a couple of hours to not worry about being OOS at least, hell even MJM on RFD didn't get any games on sale, seems like the best games are gone now, but there are still some stuff left. To all you CAGers stay strong and keep the gaming deals posted here and not there, well, not posted immediately on RFD, until we had our pickings.

Off Topic here, but I didn't know that CAG advertised RFD on it's banners?? I just saw the RedFladDeals website being advertised on CAG banners, talk about promoting deals from your "competition" and I use that term loosely as I see CAG in competition with RFD, although the Canada forum is smaller here. Interesting and weird to see at times.

BB and FS just delivered truckloads of fail.

Rogers Video and EB are shaping up to be the top dealers for Boxing Day, that is if the 2/30 is confirmed.
 
Yeah I was really expecting FS or BB to do a BOGO on next gen video games type deal. The deals aren't too bad, BioShock, Assassin's, and COD 4 for $40 is pretty decent, that's ~20 less than retail plus the tax difference. Paying $60 for a game is too much I think. The rogers thing is a hit or miss, sometimes the disks as so scratched up they're unplayable, and finding two games that you actually want is quite rare. WalMart's Heavenly Sword and Resistance for $40 /ea is okay, but I think people were expecting some hot deals on Mass Effect, Uncharted, UT3 and the more recent hot games. Oh well.

I was really hoping to grab a 42" 1080p but it doesnt look like it will happen now

There is a Toshiba Regza 42" 1080p on for $1199 during Boxing Day. I can't recommend that TV enough, I'd say go for that. I have a 32" Toshiba and my brother has this one listed and they're both amazing. Only TVs I've seen look better are Sony's.
