I have used the ps+ code on the account already. Seems crazy to me that it took my credit card to validate the ps+ trial and even showed it was verifying the information without an issue but then rejected it (and all my other cards) for making a purchase.

ok, at the moment im trying out this trick(hopefully)of leaving the ' corrupted file ' while deleting the installation data. then downloading again..
Usuyami found a site where this was found to be a working fix as the dl should install somehow.

i attempted my 5th dl with the corrupted file present, which failed.

now on my 6th attempt and am dl'ng in background this time...
i'll update as soon as i know if this works.
my ps3 has been trying to dl this for the past 24 hours. fuk you sony.

Hopefully it'll work but I wouldn't be surprised if the actual game file uploaded on PSN is corrupted. Unless someone confirms a successful install, i'll hold off from D/L anymore.

To everyone in a LA Noire group (including mine), be POSITIVE that you download and install the game before you make your share phantoms.

I can't speak for the others but I'm in no rush whatsoever to download the game.

Without getting into the specifics, which isn't necessary, just know that resellable shares are the kind you know and love, the shares available before the Nov 18th crackdown. Phantom shares are not resellable, they are one time use shares if you will, which is why they carry such a heavy discount. 2 of each are what is possible now per account.

Just checked the UK/EU store, and they are infact there. At only 8GB for both games, this is amazing, haha. Red Dead/Undead bundle is on sale for only £19.99 too!

DiRT3 got a price drop to £23.99!

I've been waiting a loooong time for ICO and SotC to get on the PSN store. Count me in for a resellable slot. :)

As for L.A. Noire, I'm fine with waiting for it to install properly for the phantom shares. Really not in a hurry to get it.

Let me get settled first, I just got home and I have a bunch of stuff happening.

im on my wii atm, giving my ps3 a rest, i have no working comp atm, so can't voice my rage.... not with this wii. Grrr
And there's talk about how this may only be these few people complaining which is making me upset . this wii is useless, only uses are Zelda and Netflix

To all LA NOIR MEMBERS.

Wait for a response from Sony regarding this issue. Don't make your share phantom untilt he issue has been addressed. A new download might from the PSN store might be the fix that they are going to release and we all know Phantoms can;t download from the PSN store.

TL DR: Do not make your shares phantom until you are sure that your copy is fixed.

RDR bundle is back at $24.49 with ps+, and I can host. Or Just Cause 2, or LA Noire when the issue is settled.
